With help from Karan's (Karan Mehra) mother, Mihir (Sudeep Sahir) is about to unmask Karan and solve the mystery behind the Shastri family. Karan is taking revenge from all the four sisters and is Jigna's killer.
A source says, "Mihir has found out that Aastha is Smriti but as per Smriti's condition, he hasn't told this to any of her sisters. On the other hand, Karan too knows everything and is threatening to expose this truth to everyone. Slowly things will become worse for Smriti when Karan tries to create more trouble for her and Mihir. He starts hitting her so that she will not spill his secret of Jigna's murder. But soon enough, his mother recovers from her illness and she then helps Mihir to know more about Karan's past. She reveals the truth about Karan's cruel behaviour towards all the four sisters and how he is responsible for Jigna's murder too. When Karan gets exposed he decides to ruin Aastha's life and tells everyone she is Smriti. He also informs that Mihir knew this truth about Smriti but he purposely hid it from everyone as they both are still in love with each other. This will be a huge blow for Purva. Mihir will also be in a dilemma as he cares for Smriti and he does not want to leave his wife Purva."
Shiju Kataria, who plays Aastha, confirms this and says, "Due to Karan and certain other incidents it will be revealed that I am Smriti and was hiding my identity from my sisters. I don't know much about the future track."
