Episode 2:
Cut to the lawn of a beautiful bungalow, where we see an old man engrossed in reading a newspaper and then a male voice breaks the serene silence, "Bauji chai aa gai aapki",(here's your tea, Bauji(father)) The news-paper moves and we see an old man with a face seeming to have the golden knowledge which we can call experience. An instant smile rushes on to his face and he says, "Are Radhe tu kyun laaya, saare naukar kahan gaye?"(Hey Radhe, why did you bring it? where are the servants?) And we see Radhe, a young man with an innocent face but having a firmness and he says, "Naukar le aata to aap shakkar nahi dalwa lete usmein?"(Had a servant brought it, wouldn't you have added sugar to it?)
Bauji's facial expressions change as if he was caught stealing, "Tu nahi sudhrega Radhe, ek din bhi shakkar nahi khane deta"(You'll never mend your ways Radhe, you never let me have sugar) and then he softens "Par main ye bhi jaanata hun ki agar main zinda hum to teri wajah se, tu mera beta nahi hai phir bhi, kaash Vijay bhi tujhse kuch seekh pata"(But I know that today I am alive only because of you, even though you aren't my son, only if Vijay could learn something from you)
Radhe begins making the tea and says, "Seekh lete to Radhe na ban jaate, phir is duniya ko super-singer and composer DV kaise milta, bataiye? Ek baat bataiye Bauji, aap hamesha Vijay bhaiya ko Vijay kyun kehte hain, unhe to ye bilkul accha nahi lagta?"(If he'd have learnt, then wouldn't have become Radhe? Then how would the world have got the super-singer and composer DV? But tell me one thing Bauji, Why do you always address Vijay bhaiya (brother) as Vijay, when he odesn't like it one bit?)
Bauji chuckles n says "Baat ye hai beta ki jab wo paida hua to uski maa Amitabh Bacchan ki bahu badi fan thi aur uska naam Vijay rakhna chahti thi, par main is baat se bahut jalta tha, isliye usko bina bataye birth certificate par Vijay ke jagah DigVijay likhwa aaya"(The fact is that when he was born, his mother was a huge fan of Amitabh Bacchan and wanted to name him Vijay, but I was really jealous of this, so I secretly got the name Vijay changed to Digvijay on the birth certificate without telling her)
Radhe starts laughing and says "unko pata chala hoga to bahut naraaz hui hogi na?" (Wasn't she really annoyed when she got to know this?)
Bauji suddenly turns sad "Haan beta, us raat wo bahut naraaz thi, jhagda karke apni maa ke paas ja rahi thi, aur phir kabhi nahi aayi, accident ho gaya uska" (Yes son, she was terribly annoyed that night, she was going to her mother's home after an argument, never to return again, she had an accident) Radhe stops smiling and turns serious while Bauji continues, "Isliye hamesha Digvijay ko Vijay bula ke is bahane usse maafi maang liya karta hun, shayad aisa main nahi karta to wo zinda hoti" (That is why I always call Digvijay as Vijay and on this pretext I try to ask her forgiveness, because if I hadn't done this, she'd have been alive)
"RADHE!!!! MERI BLACK-COFFEE KIDHAR HAI? SUN RAHA HAI TU?" (RADHE!!!! WHERE'S MY BLACK-COFFEE? ARE YOU LISTENING?) A loud voice breaks the conversation and Radhe gets up startled and hurriedly goes inside, while Bauji looks up in the sky and snaps in a satirical way, "Vijay ki maa, agar tum apne Vijay ko aise dekhti to phir se mar jaati, pata nahi is baar kisko leke aaya tha kal raat" (Vijay's mom, if you'd have seen, your Vijay like this, you'd have died again, heaven knows whom did he bring with him this time, last night)
Radhe rushes to the dining table makes two cups of black coffee, places the cups on the tray and as soon as he is about to rush upstairs, the doorbell rings. The ringing is frantic as if someone desperately wants the door to open. Radhe is about to go up but seeing no servant opening it, he goes to the doorwith the tray and opens it.
The door opens and we see a modern girl dressed in shorts and a tube top, seeing Radhe open the door she exclaims, "Here comes my toy, Good Morning sweet heart" and starts moving her finger on his face while Radhe is feeling very awkward.
"RADHE!!!! BLACK-COFFEE LAA BHI RAHA HAI KI NAHI?" (RADHE!!!! ARE YOU GETTING MY BLACK-COFFEE OR NOT?) the loud voice come again and both get starled. Radhe replies as loudly, "Laaya Vijay bhaiya"(Just getting it Vijay Bhaiya) and the girl resumes her flirting, "Saale tere maa-baap ne soch samajh ke tera naam Radhe rakkha hai, Ladkiyon wala naam, dikhta bhi ladki hai aur harkatein bhi ladkiyon ki karta hai" (Rascal, your parents mush've thought over this and named you Radhe, a feminine name, feminine looks and you act like girls too) she says while continuing her caressing his face.
Radhe seems too awkward and replies, "Urmilla Bhabi, aap upar jaiye na, Bhaiya upar hain" (Urmila Bhabi (brother's wife) please go upstairs, Bhaiya is upstairs) The girl stops and her naughty expressions change into soft and caring ones, she places both her hand on Radhe's cheeks and says "kasam se bolti hun Radhe, tu jab mujhe Bhabi kehta hai na, lagta hai main saatve aasman pe pahuch gayi" ( I swear Radhe, when you call me Bhabi, I feel elated to the core) and then removes her hand and says, "Par tera ye Bhaiya mujhe Bhabhi banayega tab na banungi main teri Bhabhi, nau saal se hamara affair chal raha hai, aur ye hai ki ab tak shaadi ke liye nahi maanta, laa de main jaati hun coffee lekar" (But this can happen only when your Bhaiya wishes to, for the past 9 years we are having our affair and he still doesn't agree for marriage, Give it to me, I'll take the coffee) she takes the tray away and goes up the stairs.
Bauji was witnessing all this from the lawn, he calls Radhe and ask, "Tu us Phuljhadi Urmila se kya baat kar raha tha?" (What conversation were you having with that firework Urmila?)
Radhe: "Kya Bauji aap bhi na, wo Bhaiya se milne aayi hai" (What Bauji? she's come to meet Bhaiya) and then he sits beside him and says, "Main aaj tak ek baat nahi samjha Bauji, aap Urmi Bhabhi ko itna napasand kyun karte hain, mujhe to lagta hai Bhaiya ke liye sabse acchi ladki wo hi hain, unke jaisi Bhaiya ko koi nahi mil sakti, Bhaiya ka har sach jaane ke baad bhi unse kitna pyaar karti hain, unki har pasand-napasand ka khayal rakhti hai, unhe kitni acchi tarah samajhti hai wo aur aap hain ki....." (I never understood one thing Bauji, Why do you dislike Urmi Bhabi so much? I feel she's the best girl for Bhaiya, he'll never get a better girl, even after knowing every truth about Bhaiya, she still loves him, takes care of every like-dislike of his, understands him so well and you.....)
Bauji's usual light-hearted face turns stern as he interrupts and replies "Beta main teri baat samajhta hun par tu meri baat nahi samajhta, Urmila bahut acchi ladki hai, bahut pyaar karti hai Vijay se, use bahut acchi tarah samajhti bhi hai, par Vijay ko aisi ladki nahi chahiye jo use samjhe, balki aisi jo use badal sake, use sudhar sake, aur main jaanta hun aisi ladki zaroor milegi use". (Son perfectly understand what you want to say, but you don't understand my point, Urmila is a very good girl, she really loves Vijay, understands him too, but Vijay doesn't need a girl who understnds him but one who can change him, mend him and I know he'll definitely get one) And then we see Urmila reach the door of a room with a big smile on her face. She is about to knock, and then thinks and opens the door without knocking.
The smile on her face vanishes and shock takes its place.
