hey but shows shouldnt be compared with the others ,i have seen many topics saying the same thing.talent of sa re ga ma shouldnt be compared to the talent of indian idol because both are equally different shows.what if the voting format is same!!

I think Amey has a capability of winning even in SRGMP and he had proved it once. Karunya is good too.
But overall SRGM has better singers.

If Amey and Karu took part in challenge, they would have gotten til Agnipariskha (the rounds where audience voting started) for sure.. assuming that the audience votes were fair and not region biased as what happened in the end, I would think Nihira would have won and after that Hemu.. maybe after that Amey or Karu..

Even with judges I think Hemu or Nihira would have won.. they both have a better breath control than Amey and in my opinion (just mine..) they sang current songs better than Amey.. I would rate Amey's best performances when he sang older songs (Laaga Chunari pe daag, Tum Jo Mil Gaye, Tu hi re, Satrangi re, Tadap Tadap).. Hemu and Nihira did really good in more recent songs.. like Right here right now, Kajra Re...

Same with Karu, i can see him uptil top 5.. but not winning the competition for the same reasons... his breath control is better than Amey but then, Nihira and Hemu were much much better...

saying this, I would say Karu and Amey were as good if not better than Debo or Vinit.. its a pit that II isn't giving them an oppurtunity to show their 'true' talent..

we SRGMP fans felt cheated that Hemu and Nihira's true potential was not revealed till the final top 5.. and Vinit when he sang Tu Mile was when i realised tat he was WOW n debo singing ek haseena thi was when i sat up n took notice... I really wish Karu and Amey were in SRGMP...

u kno my dream top 8 (n 2 winners 1 guy n one gal)... Hemu , Nihira, Himani , Vinit, Ujjaini (I loved her black performance), Debojeet, Meenal, Amey, Monali and Karu... now THAT is what i called a musical delight !
