is really anurag's sin lead to mental asylum

first in some articles says its anuraag's sin he is getting punishment. but now it seams everybody is commiting sin to anuraag .poor anuraag suffering a lot bcoz he loves everyone and belives taani then how could he be doing sin and getting punished .i am really confused😕.
