Is it really a big deal, Naku's secret?

Hmmm...so what with the FR fever catching on, Tasha's on my mind a lot. Like 24 hrs a day. 😃 I sleep, eat, dream Tasha these days. I was checking out all the old Tasha videos on YouTube(yet again). Thanks Ritz. Dunno if I got your name right. But you girl, are a godsend for hopeless Tasha fans like me.😆

I'm new to this forum and this show - I've been trying to watch old episodes and the current ones at the same time - and from what I've seen and read about Dutta and Nakusha so far, I can understand both sides of this issue. Stil, as much as I love both Dutta and Nakusha, I have a soft spot for Naku and her faith in love and God. I can't wait to see how everything turns out. Lovely post!

Okay, let me try and say what I want to say.

I've been deliberating a lot since the past few weeks. I've been on Naku's side most of the time, and yes, I did cross over to Dutta's side a few times the last week, joining the rest in calling Naku a cheat. She is, as it seems. But then I tried to think from Naku's POV again.

So, here's this girl who loves her saab, or master and will even give up her life for him. Even become his personal food taster so that uske saab pe koi aanch na aaye. And while she's pure at heart and quite naive, there's one grevious sin she's committed.She's kept a secret from her love. A secret that is going to maybe, change the course of her life in the next few weeks.

Now while I agree with most of you that this is a grevious sin indeed, I still want to take her side. Dutta is a man who values integrity. He's an open book, and Naku reads him like no one else. She even understands what he himself does not reveal. While she might not be the mistress of her own fate(whatever the reason), she somehow seems to know this man's heart and every heartbeat. She knows that his anger and his desperation do not necessarily mean that he is weak. She forgives him his rash deeds and tells him why he deserves to be loved, and respected. Earlier she'd done every deed selflessly, even asking Bappa to give her all of his sorrows. Now, she knows that he loves her. Loves her for what she is, for her silent courage, and her unswerving faith in her love, and in him. He loves her simplicity, and her innocence. He holds her opinion above everyone else's and his eyes seek her every moment. She's brought him that one thing which has evaded him for years. Contentment. He's found in her that peace that makes him want to be a better person.

So, Naku's decision to hide the truth from him, atleast after DPs entry stemmed from the fact that she felt it wasn't the right time. Now the wedding preparations are on. And yet, she doesn't seem guilty at all. One, she's waiting for her mother to give her the signal. For her, her aai is god. Two, she seems to have made up her mind. SHe's decided on the time and date, maybe a few days before the wedding, or maybe the day of the wedding. Dunno what she's trying to achieve, but could it be that she has so much confidence in her love. She believes that her love will conquer all, as it has done in the past. After all, Dutta did tell her that her looks do not matter to him.

And this is what I've been mulling over. We have a reverse Satyam Sivam Sundaram situation here( In the movie the girl had an ugly face, half-burnt. The hero falls in love and marries her without realizing this. He's repulsed by her the first time he sees the burnt part of her face and then she wins him over with her love) Here, it's the other way round. Dutta hates beautiful faces, and our Naku's gonna show him that she's way prettier than all the lame girls he's ever encountered. So, we all know that Dutta's gonna blow his top. I feel that her color and beauty again, won't matter to him. Ideally, it shouldn't. While Dutta's been quite open with her, she never has really opened up to him. I'm not blaming her here. She's just been taking all his sorrows and giving him joy. Maybe she is that kind of a person. She's never once told him what ails her even when she's been really low. Remember him asking her how she manages to remain unaffected by everything? So, I hope Dutta really tries and realizes that he never asked her about herself, neither her past nor the problems in her family. He very well knows that everything's not alright with her family. If her love has really changed him, he should be able to trust her. AGREED

Unless Kala twists the situation to her advantage. She is gonna do that. i know that.

The promo has me on tenterhooks now. I'm hoping that good wins over evil. Naku will hopefully, reveal herself before Kala poisons Dutta's mind, again. I am NOT looking forward to a

Tasha separation, CVs. Hear me loud and clear! 😭

Sorry for the rant! It's long I know. Pardon this lovesick insomniac, even though she doesn't make sense! 😆 And yeah, won't be able to reply. But I'll definitely try! Do let me know what you think!

Hey liz, nice post.....You have described nakku's character beautifully and this is exactly why i love her.....her innocence, her honesty, her unconditional love for dutta, her wisdom and so on....To me she is shown on tv as a rare person as her qualities far out do her drawbacks and she seems to be an ideal person....she is both practical as well as an idealist...she is aware about the good as well as the bad aspects and unlike ordinary mortals, she chooses to believe in those ideals and stand by them and take the road less travelled...that's quite courageous and extraordinary !!! This is how the CV's have portrayed Nakusha so far......all virtuous and righteous and full of integrity....And i love her for this.

But what bothers me is that nakku,these days, has been trying to avoid the truth and subsequently its consequences not once but time and again.....Agar ek baar aisa hua ho toh insaan phir bhi ignore kar sakta hai par agar wohi baat baar baar ho to usse nazarandaaz nahin kiya jaa sakta !! These days she is seemed to be not practicing what she had preached earlier and one can certainly doubt her now unlike earlier times when one could not point a finger at her.Also her actions speak 'louder' than her words nowadays..... She seems to have double standards now and this is what is turning-me off.

Usne ek sach bolne ke bajaaye sau jhooth bolne ka faisla kiya.....jo ki uske dikhaaye gaye kirdaar par sawaal khade karta hai. Koi bhi principled banda specially jab itna far-sighted and not narrow minded ho, woh agar aisa kaam kare to log sawaal to karenge hi na !Yeh to wohi baat ho gayi na ki " sau chuhe khaa ke, billi chali haj ko". And for me nakusha is certainly not like that billi .

Chalo maana thodi der ke liye usne apna perspective change kar liya par how can one cheat one's conscience for so long without feeling guilty if one is a morally right person ? That is contradictory to such a person's character and totally out of line !

We as viewers can assume thousands of reasons for her behavior as we love her and to sympathize with her...But there is a limit to everything...we cannot go on and on and continue to ignore her 'drawback' and still be fond of her because for then it will be just another ekta kapoor serial and not the LTL which we loved.

Hope the CV's try to avoid all such in future and not play with our emotions. That's it. Take Care.

hi...beautiful thought.....even i think the same.... is it a raaz which should affect the relationship??? i mean she is the same....it is just a kind of make up coming out... only in most of the relationship it is the other way around....when the make up comes off the beauty sort of vanishes somewhere 😛....

Actually this whole hiding ur face thingy is not a Crime at all for us all and neither it will be for Dutta.. Baji .. He scolded him ! and most of us were bashing Dutta upside down because of what a gem like Baaji never deserved such a reaction from him .. but by saying this we overlooked an important side of that behavior of him.. He trusts baaji more then anyone else! he was trying to tell baaji that He expected much more from him!! as baaji knows him better! The beauty of that scene was , He said all those words with a hint of tears in his eyes! he expected so much from him and he failed dutta yet again .. his tone said it all how much it hurts him to say it ..

Dutta is a hit headed guy.. and naku who should have told him long ago somehow was unable to share this big a truth from him inspite of KNOWING him .. so he is bound to get hurt i feel for not sharing it with him .. he would think why she didn't told him right after he saved her from morey?? or when they befriended??offcourse naku has a reason.. but he doesn't know that .. as she never shared it with him neither he asked..

Coming to Naku .. u have already explained her so well that there is no need for me to elaborate..

all i can say is .. i can see and relate to their point of views.. They both are imperfect beings... comprised of both weaknesses and strengths.. the only villain in their story is their bad luck and the fact that Evil ppl around them which they are unaware off knows their weaknesses..

I mean dutta can understand every politics when it comes to his business but in his own house he just cannot mistrust the ppl he love .. he never cared abt the politics before naku came into his life ... before her arrival things were going smooth for those evil headed ppl .. but not anymore.. hence such havoc in his life...

so to me.. both are right and are wrong equally! Its not a bigger crime for normal people but the consequences and how a big issue it has been made by naku and her mother Knowing Dutta CANT stand Betrayers has certainly made it more difficult for both dutta and nakusha ..

And that Makes FR to me Very interesting which will explore MORE into the complexities of both dutta and nakusha..and their life...

but i think since it is dutta the equations change....i was just watching some old episodes....the JMM ones....and the dialogue with Jagtap where dutta says that the more beautiful the face the graver the dhokha....and he said it with such feeling that we could feel his hatred of beauty in his voice and eyes (all agrace MR's great acting 😊)

but you are right...why should it always be about dutta's pain???? nakku has suffered so much.....in a way she is like dutta on beauty...

she herself is not very comfortable with her beauty.... partly due to her mother's fear and partly due to her own experience...everytime (except in front of baaji) her colour has come out people have tried to molest her.... she is hates her own face.....so it is very much her own insecurities regarding her own face.... she considers her face to be ill-omen....dutta should understand this....and she might have delayed the FR but she has her own insecurities....

Nakku is an exceptional character .... and as you yourself had put so beautifully in your one post...

she has loved dutta inspite of everything... she has lived to her own say 'mera chaand dutta sahib'. and now she is basking in that light named dutta (and so are we).... i think she has a right to enjoy a bit of happiness...and as already said before she is right now on the advice of two people, one whom she trusts a lot and the other whom dutta trusts blindly and both have said a no-no to FR....and not to forget that she has seen the worst of dutta and knows his hatred for beautiiful faces...on the other hand she is now a bit confident and basking in the love she was told was strictly a forbidden fruit for her.... just as we love dutta after all his imperfections.... nakku is not perfect...she might be a perfect friend philosopher guide material and she might know how to see what others need....she is blind as a bat when it comes to herself....she is not a perfect heroine.... in fact she also comes from a background where people don't have the luxury for anything but to somehow meet the two ends meet and get two decent square meals.....

how come we expect so much of her???

first have we have to give her that she is an illiterate girl coming from a basti....a maid who has a bevda for a father and one sister who has been sold somewhere...and but for her mother's courage was going towards the same fate....and then she came here....and saw her in lieu of her self less love being blamed for something she didnot do...being almost shot in the mandap....and then being walked on broken bottles around the pyre by a man who tied mangalsutra around her neck declaring it to be fansi ka fanda...and then announcing to the world about his SR and then making her take pot shots at him and appointing her as his body guard...and his sisters dragging her out of the house.....and then finally that man thought it all wrong and decided to leave her ....and then they both took a plunge in a valley...and in spite of the fact that she had saved this man's life time and again and also took a plunge along with him...and still he didnot immediately go after her when anna kidnapped her....he had to be convinced....now that man has accepted her....but Babi the mother has seen him in his violent form....and nakku can forget it because she loves him unconditionally....but babi loves nakku unconditionally....i know her logic that she should reveal herself after dutta forgive dp and all that might sound illogical....but then what do you expect from an illiterate maid who has passed through so many difficulties...and horrendous experiences....and for nakku her mother is GOD....the woman who had put her life on hold for her daughter....

so in this background...it might be a big deal for dutta....but then should it always be about him????
