im not really uunderstanding nandini

after everyone agreeing to the wedding exceot aye why cant she agree to it

and why cant she just talk to prem

and why is she always wanting aye's approval???

can somebody explain lol

i think its just that she feels like she owes aye something because ayi is letting her live with them

honestly i think its really stupid

yeah i would understand that she would be a little grateful, but ayi already takes advantage of her by making her do all the housework and everything.

she needs to start standing up for herself, and as for marrying prem i think that there's something in her past and thats why she doesnt want to get married

well that and the fact that ayi would be mad at her

No no... see its like this... Nandini is traumatised by some "incident" in her past... she's thats why very nervous around people... she doesn't talk much... Ofcourse she feels she's indebted to Aayi, coz she let her stay with them... and ahe knows Aayi secretly wants Sumati to get married to Prem, so she thinks she's paying back some of her debts by saying no to Prem... And she doesn't love him anyways, so she says "no"

But then Prem explains how much he loves her and she knows neither Prem nor sumi will get married to each other bcoz she said no, and so she decides to say yes....

Vandana is a newcomer... I think she's doing a pretty good job, but it could be confusing if you didnt know the storyline.... good thing I did a little bit of homework by reading the original story huh?

Nandini is not the social kind of girl, she is an orphan living with her sister in her sister's sasural and from the family background, looks like a conservative middle class family. She is made to feel that she is living on charity by Ayi almost every day of her life.......and from what I remember, she came to live with her sister some years back when she was quite young........people who grow up in such circumstances usually grow up subdued and meek, living only to please others!

She feels guilty that the boy who came to see Sumati preferred her...........and Ayi does not let any chance go by where she can remind her of her "ingratitude"..........that is why she says No to Prem.......Dr. K explained it well to Prem why Nandini is behaving like she is......(though of course he is in no mood to listen or understand! 😆)

I can understand Nandini's point of view perfectly even if I didn't know about her mysterious past..........I have been through something of what she is going through myself..........being told every day of your life that you are indebted to someone for your living is something that can erode your self-confidence a lot!! It takes guts to break out of it........and Nandini is young.......she will get out it eventually! I did!! 😛

Well said Shobs👏.👏.....Experience does speak,well I have not experienced it myself could feel it to some extent when.... circumstances force one to stay in some relatives house....beleive me it is hell😡.I have experienced it for 1 week but felt like a year🤢

Hats off to U shobs🤗 for coming out of it👏
