Marriage proposals are comingKatrina Kaif's way thick and fast as she shoots the Yashraj film Mere Brother Ki Dulhan in Patiala, Punjab.

Call it the Namastey London effect. Recall that in the film Katrina played a pampered London girl who comes to Punjab to look for a suitor? It appears that the actress' fans in the north Indian state have taken the film a tad too seriously. For young men have been lining up outside her lowbrow hotel in Patiala to propose marriage to the beautiful star.

Some of these aspiring hubbies reportedly come with shagun gifts for theirroka, which is sort of a prelude to ring engagement.

Of course, Katrina is flattered by the adulation showered on her. She thinks most of these fans who come with marriage proposals are "harmless" and "fun" to have around as long as they don't hamper her shoots or invade her privacy.

Though the Patiala police is providing ample security, Katrina's two protective male co-stars, Imran Khan and Ali Zafar, and the film's crew remain cautious lest anything untoward happen.
