Why is Priyanka labelled a 'fake'?

Im not a huge fan of Priyanka, so don't really follow all the news about her and her interviews. But i've noticed she's often given the label of being fake?

Why is this? Did she say something in an interview etc?

I don't like all her choices in films, but she has given quite a few good performances, experiments quite abit as well.

Note: If you dislike Priyanka, please do not use this topic as an excuse to bash, keep it clean and friendly. Im simply curious about her being given this label and would request ppl not to start fights over it!

i dont know.. why they call her fake.. never heard this word on her..

but there are few actresses in BW who are totally fake..

well....sum ppl think shes fake...as in acting all goody two shoes, happy go lucky, giggly teenager like, with a wannabe hip hop artist vibe....u get the gist. Whatever she does off screen, be it giving an acceptance speech for an award, or an interview, seems highly rehearsed and never genuine. All i can say is shes seems like this school girl who desperately tries hard to "fit in" and be all "cool" and "sexy".

i think people call her fake because of her accent in 2009 for WYR premier , and plus they dont like her funny behaviour and think shes trying to hard, donno just guessing :p

Anyway i dont find her fake :)

its ur opinion..

i dont find giggling a big issue.. or laughing.. out..

poeple enjoy their life like that.. whats wrong in it..

my parents tell me to get serious coz im not a teenager anymore .

why should I change.. life gets boring if u change urself yes u do get matured but this is something else

i love laughing.. when i see something funny..

i laughing when they r serious scene on tv speically K3G uniting scene. i dotn know why i just cant hold myself seeing thoose sad scenes..

thts fine. u dunt find her fake and i do. I never said there was anything wrong with laughing.....but the "fake giggly teenager" i mentioned in my previous post refers to a particular attitude, not an act as such. And by that i mean someone who projects herself to be this innocent lil bubbly angel. now there is nothing wrong with being one naturally, but with PC...it seems put up, and hence fake.

yeah abt faking the american accent, yes who cares, its her life , but you know what some people actually DO care , the haters care the most i tell u 😆😆

For me she still isn't as fake as the other pagent winners, barring I would say Juhi who was a miss india too. All these crown winners come with their baggage of plastic adaas and fakeness that these pagents teach them.. and it takes them decades to unlearn that robotic-ness... with priyanka it is that underneath it all she is a regular girl next door that is why she rocks in regular bolly roles and she seems more real than other models.. but of screen she tries to put on this persona.. trying to fit in.. and all... and she comes across as a wannabe most of the times... yes that infamous accent at TIFF was also a blunder..In models altho bips.. is typecasted in similar roles.. but she actually comes across as a hip and cool person.. when you look at her it doesn't seem that she is putting on a fake image.

i don't exactly think she is fake... she is very diplomatic, i think...

i think that's probably why some people call her 'fake', because they'd rather she just speak her mind... or because they think she is putting up an act, when she is praising everyone... yes, she has been involved in her share of war of words, but i dont' think she has ever started it...

anyways, we all percieve things differently... @ kawal, there's no reason to start calling others 'haters', because of it...!! 😛😛
