Why is Priyanka labelled a 'fake'? - Page 2

No I disagree about the comment above me! Just because someone gives diplomatic answers doesn't mean they are fake! There are a lot of celebs who give diplomatic answers and are not fake!

Reasons why I think PC is fake someone already mentioned! Whenever she tries to look cool and sexy it just doesn't come naturally to her! She tries to hard to be cute, it's just so irritating because u know she is trying and it's not natural! Well one get's the feeling!

When I watch her interviews, the way she speaks she is trying hard not to seem boring and acts all bindaz! And it looks fake again because it doesn't seem natural! I guess ppl can change, but when she started off, I didn't see that fakness and trying to hard thing! Like I watched the interview during Aitraaz and she was completely the different PC! She was calm and herself! She was really shy spoke well! Her fakness started when she starting being famous! She tries too hard now to be liked!

^^yeh i dunt get why a person who gives has a critical or negative opinion about a celeb is termed as a hater....i didnt even say anything about priyanka's accent! the wannabe-ness i was refering was strictly towards her body language and the way she projects herself in public...like in reality shows, promotional events etc.

She is already sexy she doesn't have to try 😛

Well, how else would you describe someone who's constantly sucking up to her famous co-stars to get in their camps and switching in and out of accents to try and sound cool/sexy? In simple terms, Priyanka tries too hard. She tries to fit in every social situation and wants everyone to like her, which leads to the fakeness factor. It's worked well for her because she's definitely made it into the biggie camps in the industry but I think she's lost her real self somewhere along the way.

The only person I know of that she sucks up to is SRK but you can look at another side of it she is huge fan of him you can even call her one of the fangirls when it comes to him. 😉 There is always two side to a story she can just be huge fan of srk 😛

Also, I disagree with someone's comment that she's more fake than the other pageant winners. Lara has a very genuine feel about her and her comfort in being herself reflects in her attitude/behavior. I mean, that woman simply oozes confidence and dignity and I don't think I've ever seen her trying to be something she's not. Same goes for Diya and Yukta and several other winners.

And for the people who say that anyone who criticizes her as fake is a hater, I'm not sure I really get that. I don't HATE Priyanka because she tries too hard; that would be ridiculous. It's just a little annoying to sit there and watch someone make a fool of themselves by pretending to be something they're not.

Agree with lara's comment! Have u seen their pageant video! I mean PC and lara's? OMG I just loved lara in the video! She is so real and seemed so intelligent! She was so natural! And when u watch PC in that interview, you can't help but think what's wrong with her? She was completely fake!

yep...lara is beautifully articulate, well spoken and incredibly funny esp on koffee with karan!!! 😆...same with bipasha who is just oozes confidence and humility at the same time, and gives the vibe of a person who is content with herself and her sense of being. Even kangana i think is very sweet and genuine...she was so cute in DKD with salman.

anywayz...the sucking up is not to srk, but also to duggu (contradictory statements on kwk), kjo, farhan...etc...but sucking up is fine...infact necessary to sustain in the industry....but the wannabe attitude is where all the fakeness kicks in.
