Human beings are not very noble you know. When someone hurts us & we terribly love that person, we tend to forgive them. But then when the person keeps on hurting us, I don't think anyone can forgive that person.

We humans are not so 'pure', We may say that yeah We have a big heart & will forgive the person whatever happens but then thats all showing off. :|

For me, I have forgiven people only whom I want to stay in my life & that is what normally happens but then that person cannot keep hurting us & we keep forgiving him.

Usually forgive easily , as i really dont give importance to things that are not needed in my life
Dont forget things that easily , just as a reality check for myself not to tread in that path again

If the offence is by a friend, I forgive and I do it very easily.

If the offence is by an unknown person I don't forgive...I feel like giving a hard slap, but I restrain myself as I am civilised. I fume and fret for sometime, vent it out to my loved ones and then forget it, but not forgive.
Revenge - no. I am not someone who would go and take serious revenge like they show in movies and TV serials - going and murdering someone.
But yeah....revenge for fun, playing lighthearted pranks on friends for something they have done to me is a definite yes. 😉

On the other hand, its often the contrary ! We feel more hurt when a person who is close to us such as a friend or a relative , commits an offense against us or lets us down.
We dont usually bother as much when the same offense is committed by an unknown person. We may get irritated but thats all. We dont keep thinking about it and soon forget it whereas if it was a near or dear friend we would most likely be tortured by repeated thoughts about the incident .
Of course its best to forgive and forget , not for anybody's sake but our own peace of mind and health !

I agree....we feel more hurt when someone close to us commits an offence, but we are talking about 'revenge' here. Would you take 'revenge' against a loved one? I would not. I might just forgive them, or maybe have a grudge for a few days, but I wouldn't take 'revenge'.
