Ch18

Tasha and baaji are going towards PN. Dutta had changed turns while driving to give baaji some rest and nakku had sat in the front with him. Dutta saw in the rear mirror that baaji was dosing off so he quietly takes nakku's hands in his while driving. He changes gears holding her hand not once looking at her but keeping his eyes on the road.(badi lambi judai thi na 'can't keep his hands off her.)

Baaji with his eyes closed- Bhau, Pahele ghar to pahuchne do. Phir jitne marzi nakku ka haath paao dabana. Abhi thoda tez gaddi chalona. Teen din se teek se soya nahi aapki love story ke chakkar mein.

Dutta- saale, Roz gaddi mein to tu lamba ho jata tha.(you slept in the car everyday) Bakwas bandh kar, varna sach much lamba kar dunga.(shut up or ur dead.) baaji- haan bhai, ab meri koi kadar kahan? Vahini jo wapas aagai hai. dost hua begana. Dutta- saala,nautanki. Nakku- saab, jaane do. Baaji, tum saab ko mat chedo.

But duji keep their good natured ribbing going on till they reach PN. They get out of the car. Tasha share a pleased glance and walk towards the door,while baaji follows. PN door opens and AS is standing with the aarti ki thaali. As- Ruk ja dutta, Tu bahu ko ghar laa raha hai. aaj saahi maine mein iska grihapravesh karne de. She does the mangal aarti. Naaku is asked to give her karchinha(handprint) on the door. This marks entrance of Lakshmi in the house. Then nakku enters the home by pushing the pot of rice with her right feet. Tasha step in together. Nakku then leaves her red feet marks on each step.

They touch elders feet to get blessings. Nakku is ecstatic to met her aai and family. AS- aaj hume khushi hai ki ghar parivaar poora ho gaya. Lakshmi us din khoon saane pao se laut gait hi aaj wapas aa gai hai. aai jagdambe ki kripa hai.

Dutta- Aai, itni raat ho gai hai. aap logo ne bekaar itni takleef ki ghar sajaya. Aap log thak gai honge. So jayeye.

Everyone laughs at dutta's eagerness to send everyone to bed. AS- Itni jaldi kya hai dutta abhi to kai rasme baaki hai. Dutta blushes so does nakku. They are taken to different rooms and made to change into lavish clothes. Nakku is made to wear one of her earlier purchased lahega and decked up in jewellery. She looks ravishing in a Emrald green with wine red and gold embroidery. While dutta too dawns a black sherwani with gold works and deep red dhoti.(need I say he looked HOT) . Tasha are made to sit together and a huge vessel filled with red liquid is brought. Roops puts a ring in the water and stirs it.Leela- dekho, ab tumhe isme se anguti dundhni hai. jo dhund lega wo jeet jayega or saari jindagi bas uski hi hukumat chalegi shaadi mein samjhe? Chalo dhundo. Bhau aap ko jeetna hoga.

Tasha look at each other and immediately start searching. Dutta is at loss as he is hopeless in these things, he had never paid much attention to wedding rituals either. He feels that nakku will find the ring so he grabs her hand in water. Roops- cheating bhau, vahini ka haath chodo. Dutta lets go feeling embarrassed. They keep searching. Naaku finds the ring in water and fingers it lightly. She looks at dutta and signals that she found it and slowly removes her hand, dutta takes the ring out and shows it to all. Sethji- arey bhau, jeet gaya. Matlab bhau ghar ka boss. Dutta looks lovingly at nakku holding the ring. Nakku stares at him too. AS sees and says- Haan sethji, tera bhau ghar ka boss to sahi par nakku se poch ke. Iski hukumat to chalegi shaddi mein par nakku se izajat(permission) leke . everyone laughs and makes fun that samundar ka raja aur underworld ke don ke ab joru ka gulam banana ke din aa gaye. Kishore- daro mat bhau, ye shaddi pahele pahele takleef deti. Baaji- phir baad mein. Kishore- baad mein bahut takleef deti hai. All laugh.Dutta puts the ring on nakku's finger shyly.(is Friday ka payal wala scene was so cute.)

After all the rasms are over nakku is taken upstairs in dutta's room while dutta is told to wait downstairs. Dutta stares at nakku as she is taken upstairs. Baaji ,suds and all drag dutta out in the lawn where all men are getting drunk and merry making. Baaji had also imbibed a lot. Dutta is getting restless to join nakku , he keeps glancing at his window. But he surrounded by all drunk men. They force a drink in his hand. He takes it.Baaji drunk- Bhau, aaj main bahut khush hai pata. Tera finally bole to band baj hi gaya. Ab tu aur nakku happy main bhi happy. Ab tere bachche mujhe kaka kaka bulyenge.He puts his head on dutta's shoulder sideways grinning away like a fool.

Dutta hardly paying attention and looking at the window mutters to himself- abbey, bachche to tab honge naa jab mujhe uppar jane dogey.

Baaji- apan bhi shaddi karega. Tereko kya lagta hai? dutta shakes his head- tereko shaddi karni hai?

Baaji- haan to? Tu dekhna mere liye koi chokdi. Hai na? before dutta could answer nakku comes near the window ,she has been waiting for him, the loudness of the men drew her to the window. Dutta looks at her and is flummoxed. She sees the glass in his hand and pouts. Dutta immediately hands the glass over to ganpat. She smiles and tells him to come up with her green deep eyes. Duta nods and is about to go when baaji again holds him. ''Bhau, tu na meri liye ladki dund.main batata hai mereko kaise ladki chahiye. Dutta- haan baaji, par baaji baad mein. Abhi bahut raat ho gai hai chal so jaa.

Baaji- bhau, tu mujhse pyar nahi karta..He starts crying. Tu mera ghar basta nahi dekhna chahta. Mereko malum ab tu badal jayega, hamesha vahini ke sath rahega. He loudly hiccups and cries. Dutta- baaji,nai baaji. He looks around and sees that many of his useless men are crying too! Baaji hugs dutta and says- bhau, teri shaddi ho gai. Tere bina ab hum logo ka kya hoga? Dutta-shaddi ho gai to kya, ab main kahi todi jaa raha hu. Baaji- nai bhau, rasam hai. shaddi ke baad bidaai pe rote hai. All his men start wailing loudly. Dutta is exsasperated- Ab meri bidaai ho rahi hai?Bidaai to ladki ki hoti hai. baaji- bhau, (sniff sniff) teri bahut yaad ayegi. And hugs dutta. ganpat comes from behind and hugs him too. Apun ko bhi teri yaad ayegi bhau.

Dutta looks up with a irritated look at nakku and finds her peeling with laughter at his predicament.Baaji, bakwas bandh kar. Dutta shakes them both off. Baaji- bus kya bhau, maine tera kitna sath diya hai. tereko vahini ne ghar ke niche watchmen ki tarah khada raka ye kabhi kissi ko bataya? Kyu bhai log tum logo ko kabhi bataya ki vahini ne kaise bhau ki class li. Everyone shakes their head in negative. 'Nai baaji kabhi nai bataya. Ye bhi nai bataya ki vahini ne bhau ko watchmen se kah ke bhagane ko kaha'. Baaji- haan phir, dekho bhau kabhi nai bola. Maine to ye baat bhi nai batayi, ki vahini ne market mein aapko zorse full energy se ek raipat(slap) chipkaya tha. Kyu bhai log kabhi bataya?

All BGs crying and in unison'nai baaji bhai, kabhi bhi nai bataya.' Dutta rolls his eyes heavenward for patience. 'baaji,mere bhai. Tu mera sabse achcha dost hai. meri jaan hai. hum dono sholay ke jai viru hai..ab nakku wait kar rahi hai. main jau?' baaji cheers up- haan bhau jao naa. Dutta about to go when baaji again holds his hand. Bhau,pakka wada naa. Apan jai-viru? Dutta suddenly realizes that baaji does need his reassurance. He turns and faces a foxed baaji. He touches his face lovingly-baaji, nakku se main kitna bhi pyaar karu. Tu to mera sabse achcha dost hai. teri jagah sirf teri hai. ye main kabhi nahi bhulunga. Jai(he points at himself with his thumb)viru(points at baaji with his finger) pakka wada. Duji hug. And dutta goes. Baaji sings loudly- ye dosti...hum nahi todenge and starts dancing with others.

Dutta climbs upstairs slowly each step taking him closer to her, making him more nervous. What if he did something wrong? What if he hurt her again, would he be able to understand her needs? He had never felt this deeply about anyone before. His feelings for seema had been a pale shadow in comparison to what he felt for nakusha. He now knew that he never loved supriya, he had tried to,had forced his heart to feel something more than passing interest but never felt love. If love was this all consuming need to be with someone all the time, this restlessness till you are with them. This need to see their smile and hold them in your arms like there's no tomorrow. If these pain in the heart he feels every time he thinks of losing her. The fear that makes him,a killer, shiver. If this is love then he had never been in love before, never. With shaking nervous hands he opens his door and enters, turns and closes the doors. He turns around and finds an empty bed sewn with flower petals of honeydew color on sinful scarlet silk sheets. He looks around scanning the room with his heart in his mouth. His clothes suddenly felt tight. Damn,but it was hot. The room was lit up with candles and smelled of the numerous roses placed a round. It was lovely and scary; it didn't feel like his room at all. To add to trouble he couldn't find her in the room. He took a few hurried steps inside and called in an agitated voice "Nakku?" He went and opened the bathroom door. Empty. Where is she? His heart was running a marathon by now.

Then he heard it. A faint musical sound of the bangles tinkling and he turned around. Surely his heart could now win that marathon at this speed. Then he froze and his running heart just stopped in his chest. There she was standing close to the door. Like an angel from heaven she was standing there with her head bent shyly not even meeting his eyes. Dutta knew he had never seen a more beautiful sight. A breeze came flickering the candles and played with the rebel curl that had escaped the prison of her bun. She lifted her green eyes to his.(headphones on plz..IS Pal main hoon from aaja nachle)

is pal main hoon ya tum bhi ho
ya dono ho ke bhi na hain.. they keep looking at eachother mesmerized. He walks towards her, one step at a time,his mind blank ,throat dry.

kyon ho kya ho, ho bhi ki naa ho he advances towards her slowly

ya kehna sun-na manaa hai she takes a step back residing from him slowly

is pal mai hoon ya tum bhi ho her back hits the wall behind.
ya dono ho ke bhi na hain he comes close and rests his hand on the wall and leans into her, trapping her.

He lightly touches her cheeks and removes that curl that was driving him insane with lust. He brings his lips hairbreadth close to hers. She moves out of his reach as he grabs her duppata. She stands in the middle of the room in her backless choli and lahenga with her back to him.he puts the duppata around his neck.

tumhe dekh ke yaad aayi, vahi bisri kahaani he comes to stand behind her and lightly touches her bare back skin, kisses the small,sexy mole at the center of her creamy back.She shivers with desire and leans into his heat. He kisses the knape of her neck lightly biting her earlobe, the heavy earrings falls. He takes off the other too.
deewane ka kissa, ya phir ik deewani They are faceing the mirror and the reflection showed two lovers merged into one their hearts beating hard and eyes clouded and drugged with passion. Their eyes meet in their reflection.
dono sang sang rehte hardum she turns her head so that he could kiss her lips deeply. He puts his hand on her neck to take of the heavy necklace and drops it to the ground.
aisa ye, maine suna hai he lightly touches her small waist where the lining of her lahenga is snuggly resting. He traces her navel in featherlike touch. Her body quiver and clenches at the fire he ignited by his teasing.
is pal main hoon ya tum bhi ho they walk hand in hand to the bed and sit on it.
ya dono ho ke bhi na hain as he leans in for a kiss,nakku draws the curtain between them
kyon ho kya ho, he tugs it and it tears and covers nakku. he lays her down covered by the flimsy curtain.

ho bhi ki naa ho he moves down and kisses her navel through the curtain.
ya kehna sun-na manaa hai he then moves up and kisses her eyes , nose and lips through the curtain.
she pushes him off and runs but dutta grabs her hand and pulls her in his arms. He unwinds the tight bun letting her hair fall to her waist like adrak cloud. Running his hand through her hair while holding her stare he slowly pulls her choli's doori and takes it off. Rest follows as nakku tries to cover herself with her hands.
ishq hua he wraps her in the duppata, sarong style while most of it trails on the floor.
tum bata do yaad koi, kya puraani leke aaun they walk side by side with a white curtain between them. Dutta trailing his hand on the flames of the candles as he walks with his eyes on her. In one fluid motion he takes off his kurta.(so dutta in his white vest and crimson dhoti....nakku wrapped only in her emrald green and red dupatta sarong style..hope u get the pic...)
yaa nishani deke jao he bends down and lifts her foot and places it on his chest
yaa kahani leke jaao he places that payal on her foot and kisses the big toe .
Ya ki mann chod do jaye nakku smile and playfully pushes him on the chest with her foot and runs.
Yeh jaata ,jaata jahan hai dutta follows and traps her with her back on the glass plane of the window and front with his body.his hands on both side of her face resting on the glass.
is pal main hoon ya tum bhi ho he leans into her, tries to kiss her swollen lips.
ya dono ho ke bhi na hain she shyly moves her face sideways so that the kiss grazes her cheek.
kyon ho kya ho, dutta tries to move away from her thinking she's not ready.

ho bhi ki naa ho nakku grabs her vest in both hands and drags him back to her so that she is crushed by him and the glass.
ya kehna sun-na manaa hai dutta looks at her surprised, she closes her eyes and offers her lips for his kiss. Tasha kiss.
is pal main hoooon he picks her up in his arms and walks towards the bed looking in her eyes as she has her arms around his neck . her duppata trailing on the floor.....bleeze moving the curtains and blowing off the candles.(ok..i need some water..😉.)
