1)Yeah....Smriti is pretending to be Astha inorder to save her Purva di's marriage....When Smriti was in mental hospital, Purva married Mihir since Kamini tried to marry him with some other girl...It was for Smriti, Purva married him but later an accident happened and everyone thought Smriti would have died and finally Mihir accepted Purva as his wife....Smriti was not dead actually.When she came back, she saw her sister married to her husband.So to save Purva's marriage, she movbed away from their life....Karan was the one who saved her from the accident and hence she qwas staying with him...
2)Everyone thought that Smriti have died...They even did the rituals of some dead body thinking that it was Smriti's....But before Smriti's death, Mihir married Purva....Purva married him with the intention of giving Mihir back to Smriti when she comes back from the hospital.
3)Karan is the person who saved Smriti when she met with an accident.He helped Smriti to get back home and helped her to stay way from Mihir-Purva once Smriti found out that Purva is married to Mihir.He later married Smriti/Aastha.
4)Purva-Mihir found out Smriti when they went to a certain place.Smriti proved that she was not Purva's sister by means of some fake documents.Smriti wanted to see her own child and hence she came with Karan.Purva had a doubt that she is Smriti but she conveniently handled Purva.But Anokhi found out about Aastha when Smriti was alone with the child talking with the baby. Anokhi was about to disclose the secreats in front of everyone when Smriti interrupted and said that she was in love with Karan.Sangvi family decided to conduct their marriage after knowing that they don't have much relatives and hence Smriti was forced to marry Karan.Also Anokhi told Smriti that she would keep it as a secreat only if Smriti marries Karan.
5)Currently, no one except Anoki-Smriti-Karan knows the truth....
6)The postmortem report said that Jigna had taken drugs in overdose and it was thought that she might have accidentally hit Shaml's taxi.
7)No.First, she threatened Kshitij that she would have take the poison she brought with her.Right then someone knocked at the door and she ran out and saw Purva.Purva gave a tight slap to Kshitij and after some harsh dialogues she brought Akashi safely back home.

9)DNA test was conducted secreatly by Purva but Smriti came to know about it from Anokhi and with the help of Karan she altered the reports
10)Aastha is a look alike of Smriti but the sisters behave to her like their own Smriti.Also since they live nearby and doesn't habve much relatives, Karan-Astha usually are called for any functions in Sangvi house.
