I have an interesting memory of Karwa Chaut when I was in college, when I had kept vrat for my boyfriend even though he stopped me from doing so. But I was so adamant that I wanted to fast. In the morning I saw everyone having food, but I didn't care because I was certain of fasting, but after reaching college the scene turned upside down. During lunch break I was really hungry and literally blanked out, and couldn't think of anything else other than food. I called up my boyfriend and said I might break the fast and he said it was ok. Finally, I did break the fast
