Pooja's got her hand around his neck in all of HER close ups and on his right shoulder in all of Arhaan's close ups and of course, it was clear that he wasn't actually carrying her in any shot except the long ones.š
What is this, Director? š²Of course, you cheat but for heaven's sake LOOK at the FRAME and see if it's consistent, na? Small effort for you but worth it because otherwise it breaks the fourth wall so badly, all your good work goes down the drain. The distance between the actors is always erratic - close in the long shots and suddenly we find miles between them in the closer ones - this is particularly irritating and coy of you in the romantic scenes š. Yes, make sure the actors are comfortable - but at the end of the day they're professionals playing a part and there's no need to compromise on the scene just to maintain absurd levels of modesty. If they've stood so close for one shot, they won't melt if they're an inch closer in the next.
The look direction is often weird, we just have to imagine the characters are looking at each other and the editing is sometimes choppy too - not everywhere but particularly in scenes that you guys think of as fillers.
Yes, this is a daily soap and we can't expect cinematic standards but you've got to have some, now, come on!
