Friends,

Why is saying 'I love you' called a confession? Is that the right word? Check the dictionary.

Confession is what you do when you admit to some wrong you have done- a crime, sin. It's a feeling of guilt.

What is there to feel guilty abt being in love?

Should we use another word for saying ILU?

yes actually outside when u say confession they take it only for admitting your guilt...just like that we satrted using for i love you...Its not the proper term..

😆 OH God Gaayu see what has become of us.Now we have to check the Oxford dictionary for meanings??.Oh God why i cant stop laughing.This is too much.Shanak Oh Shanak plz return to normalcy so we are spared from looking at the dictionary again.

yeah Gaayu,confession deffo gives a negative meaning and i too feel there shld be another word....how abt using "express" instead of confession.i mean expressing love rather than confessing ur love

yu are rite ... bt ILU is a confession coz u love a person nd u hav 2 admit it dat u r in love wid him/her.....nd plus confession mostly means admitting sumthing soo sayin ILU is the samee admitting ur love for sum1 =)

words have different meaning no denying, here it fits as in a way shan is confessing his guilt, rem he said many times he hates and she would never be able to take place in his life so it fits here .....

well saying I L U is more than confesing guilt in may cases

but like sharmida said this need to end before we open many topics and send brains to work , since iam done with studies way longggggggggggg back its pain to use brain for research again 😆

its true the people who love research work love researching everything (I have my own experiance😆)

Ya, Love is not a guilt but the way people feel shy saying I love You it seems that they have done a crime😆
