Hi everyone,

I'm sure im one of the million Big B fans. I just love his screen presence. Be it cinema or television he is awesome. He just generates this power on screen. Yet the best part is he doesnt have any pride. His humility is what makes his fans love him more.

I remember there was a season that Shah Rukh Khan hosted KBC, and I remember there being some controversy over it. Can anyone tell me why SRK hosted that season and what was the whole Hoo haa about?

SRK hosted it because Amitabh refused to, due to ill-health

SRK had to hosted it bcause middle of season big b fall sick....i think he had to gone through some operation....so SRK hosted show in between i think..........

None of the actors can match Big B.

I absolutely adore the way he carries himself. His command over language, anything and everything !

KBC to me is synonymous with Big B.

same here.........no one can bring the charisma that big be can do...the way he speak the language and the way he talk with all contestant....simply he is superb.....

i have seen SRK hosed show too so i can say.....its huge difference.....no offence to SRK fans..........but the purity big b's personality, language and attitude has ...........if SRK will tkae 100 births he won't be able to touch it..........

Actually media was comparing the style of hosting of the two actors...and often put Big B over SRK. Besides, there was indeed one episode which had a dash of controversy- A participant from Jind had come....her name was Rachna Shrama ( i can never forget that episode😆)........as was SRK's style, he also told Rachna ji to either shake hand with him or hug him ( at the time when she was about to quit the game) .....but Rachna ji retorted back with " Mujhe aapko gale lagane ka koi shauk nahi hai" ........( i must say, that woman had a lot of guts!😆).......at that SRK had got annoyed, although he didn't show😳.............Actually this episode had become so popular, that in the finale episode of KBC-3, SRK especially included that clipping!😆

Wow that takes alot of guts to say...

However I think its time someone said it. No offence to SRK fans as Im sure there are a billion+, he used to be my favourite but of late I have found him a bit proud, as if he now believes himself to be a superstar and then thats when he lost his appeal. Big B on the other hand I believe although is much senior, he is not over the top and in your face, he knows what he is and he doesnt need to prove it anymore.

Big B is the best. Even when people phraise him he just smiles and immediately sidetracks the contesttant to the game. Comparision between Big B and SRK is like chalk and cheese. I have watched both of them anchoring this show and to me SRK wanted to gloat and let contestant phraise him till the cows came home. Liked it when that lady told him she had no intention of hugging him etc.

I agree with you 100%. Whenever SRK makes an appearance on any reality show, award function or any TV appearance, he always comes across as fake and its always about him him and him...

I like him as an actor, but as a human being, I cant stand him and his pride.
