I wanted to show something to you.I want to discuss some source subject. Please healthy discussion is needed.

I'm extremely annoyed with the writers because it looks like they have introduced the Indian girl so that they can kill her off and the tell us that they have created diversity.

Like they have killed Anna(Anna who was my favorite female character), Pearl.Don't get me wrong but am I the only one who has noticed it?

We have changed but Hollywood TV industry has not changed guys and TVD is making it clear, Only Whites are getting most of the attention, not any black because for them we are black also(Indians, Asians,African American all), even Katerina(who is multi-ethnicity whose skin color is so gorgeous and I have rarely seen such a gorgeous and talented face in TV and an important character and promising, potential character now a token witch with no parents , no love interest or no POV who got very small screen time and she is 4th important character after Stefan, Damon, Elena..... WHY😲😲), In the main cast every other cast member has parents and home except for Bonnie, and ..I was a bit ignorant first but when it comes another token character Amy,the Indian girl, I can't keep myself to share it with you guys.

After watching this pic, don't you get the clear picture and after 1 or 2 episodes, Amy would be joined in the list also.

Take a bow xoxolively.I wanted to say it but I don't have courage like you.I'm pretty much sure that Amy has been taken for the food purpose , she would join the list soon.Like you said Bonnie is the 4th important character but writers are ignoring her storyline also and now the picture has made it more clear, the diversity, I really hate if writers make token character. Then don't take any non-white if you can't give them storyline. XD

Thank you guys for noticing it also.

This is really not a way what writers are doing, I mean every non-white character has been treating like dirt in TVD.Seriously why?

When there is so much huge potential for their storyline, like for Pearl, Anna, they can be used for a great storyline but no they are staked,Even writers have not considered the fans of Anna.Bonnie's storyline can be explored in different ways but no...they are not doing it.If that's diversity , then thank you.I don't need it specially when actress like Meles Jow and Kat Graham are considered because they can do better than that, not being stereotypical.I have been neglecting and closed my eyes as no one is saying anything but After Amy , I thought that enough is enough.

Seriously its like they think they are expandable since not many are in the industry and they are more supplies than demand. Its annoying. Not just colored folks but killing of characters and then regreting it. For example Lexi - hence why they made Caro the new one.
Pearl // Anna // Harper had some serious potential. I made about them dying the most. Pearl was just awesome. I thought she was gonna do a lot more. And old as she was I figuired it would have been super hard to kill her but apparently their vamp abilities failed her and Harper because a human John killed him in mere seconds, ugh. And back then I hoped Harper would be the one to make Bonnie on board with Team Vamp but things just went downhill.

I agree with you all but i also disagree.
Sure, most of the coloured characters were killed in TVD, and Bonnie isn't given enough screen time, it's because her time hasn't come yet. If you have seen the trailer for the next episode, there is a lot of her.
And as for Damon-Stefan-Elena being the main characters, they are the main characters. They've always been.
The TVD story revolves around the three of them, it did stray off after a while and gave more importance to other characters for a while but we have to admit that it was still the story of the Salvatore brothers and Elena Gilbert.
Atleast TVD has brought in other type of people unlike other shows where there are only white people.
Bonnie for sure will get some screen time, perhaps Amy might be Jere's new love interest and may stay so i'm not going to jump to conclusions right now.

Great discussion! Just thought it'd be more fun if someone also disagreed. 🤣...I know i am weird..what can i say? It's me. LMAO

I actually agree with you Jot. Esp. that Salvatores & Elena are the main characters so story has to around them most of the times!!

Of course Damon/Elena/Stefan are main character and it's a triangle, I know it and I enjoy them a lot. but I don't like the way they are treating colored ppl as for Bonnie , she is lot more important than Tyler or Caroline(What I have read from Wikipedia) and she is 4th main but she doesn't get screen-time, no POV or Parents, most of the time she is absent in the show while she had become a popular character after her Grams death but now they are trying to make her token character, only she came when someone needs magic help, otherwise nowhere.

Pearl/Anna huge potential but they have killed them, then why did they open the tomb?Such a great storyline but wasted.Anna, poor Anna......

You said"At-least TVD has brought in other type of people unlike other shows where there are only white people."That's the part , I actually don't like if you introduce a color character, give them storyline, don't make them token, they are not representing anything of us(like Amy), just token stereotypical character. And that's the picture says.Mocking Diversity...............So, don't take Non-white or if you take them, give them a chance so that they can give us somebody like Will Smith.Otherwise it's an irritating idea.I think the movies have progressed a lot but not the tv industry of Hollywood.

If they kill Amy as a food source, will you then believe me?😛I heard another new colored character is coming, I don't know whose food she/he would be!!!!!

And I will give writers a second thought if they give me my another new favorite couple Jeremy/Bonnie and Bonnie some consistent storyline, POV and parents but I think They will surely want to put Bonnie with some African American and maybe no love interest or storyline .

🤣Well...if they do kill Amy as some demented vamps food....then....too bad for her.... What can i say? I'm just really weird. 😆 The new character? Lucy? The witch?

Ehh....we all have our own opinions. Jeremy and Bonnie huh? Aww...i agree. They are so cute.
