To Love Again - Part ' 33

Geet held Maan's hand when he turned his face the other side 'Maan, did Daadima come?' she asked in a low voice. Maan looked at her and nodded 'yes, she is waiting outside, I will call her' he went out to call Daadi. Daadi walked in with Maan, after a while and sat on the chair next to Geet's bed 'Geet bte, I'm here for you and please don't think that you are alone. I will be praying for you, please be strong and Maan will be here with you' Daadi touched Geet's cheeks with her hand and placed a kiss on her forehead before she leave.

Doctor Deepika informed Maan about what exactly he needed to do to help them and Geet. He listened to her instructions carefully and moved to his seat. Geet tried to get up several times as she could not bear the pain but Maan held her to stick on to the bed holding her gently. It took more time than what they have expected because the pain did not last for so long. Maan felt a wave of terror ran within him when doctor Deepika informed him about what was happening to Geet. 'Doctor, can't you do something to ease her pain?' he asked in a trembling voice. Doctor understood what he was going through then and stared on to the ground for a while before answering 'I understand it is difficult for you and her, but we need to observe her condition for one more hour and after that we will see what we can do' she tried to give as much details as possible to make him aware of Geet's condition.

Maan walked to Geet's bed thinking of what he would tell her when she asks him the matter. He smiled at her bitterly, trying to hide the uneasiness within him and sat on the chair 'you are going to be fine and the baby will arrive soon, now cheer up like my sweet wife' he cupped her left hand while talking. Geet gave him an annoying look 'Maan, you said it before too but still it didn't come and I am not getting a relief' she said wryly. She has been in this pain since dawn and how could he expect her to cheer up. She has been patient and calm until now and she could not bear it anymore, but still her inner feelings were forcing her not to give up as she has lived only for the baby. She has been waiting for her baby to come into the world and let her feel that she too was an important being in the world.

Maan swallowed her wry response to his words and glanced at her silent face. She was lost in deep thinking and he should not let her drown in her emotions, especially now. Sensing her response was natural with the pain and fury she was going through, Maan closed his eyes and leaned his head against the chair. He has to bear with the worst and unexpected things to happen at this moment as she would not remember anything later. 'Geet?' Maan touched Geet's chin with his finger turning her face to him 'Geet, I'm sorry, please don't be sad. I know it is hard and difficult to tolerate but still we need to face this together for the baby. Our baby, who will be the light of our life' he whispered huskily into her eyes. Geet widened her eyes and lifted her free hand and caressed his face 'Maan, I'm sorry' tears started flowing from her eyes due to pain and Maan's words. She touched her belly and closed her eyes letting more tears to roll over her cheeks freely. 'This is the reason why I am alive and now I have to be strong for you and our baby' she felt her heart popped out from her chest with the emotions she was going through.

It was after an hour doctor Deepika asked Maan out and explained him the next step they needed to follow in Geet's case. 'Will it cause any harm to the baby and Geet?' Maan asked as soon as he heard about the induction. A wave of despair ran through his nerves, but he managed to control his emotions as he was the one to support Geet.He looked at the taveez and touched it gently murmuring to himself 'I will never let anything bad happen to you two.I don't mind doing anything for you both'. Geet looked at Maan who came into the room; she noticed the despair in his eyes sensing that something went wrong. 'Tell me Maan, something is wrong, right? Tell me what is wrong?' Geet tried to get up seeing Maan entering the room. 'Everything is fine, Geet' he smiled at her while answering.

Geet refused to the procedure and didn't listen to Maan, telling that she would not do anything that would cause trouble for the baby. Doctor Deepika and Maan tried and convinced her to go for it. As they started the IV (intravenous) two sisters started to massage Geet's back gently, trying to ease her pain. As the pain grew stronger, Geet clutched her fingers deep into Maan's hands making him to bleed mildly. Maan tolerated the pain happily and tried to calm Geet down. Doctor Deepika and her team went on trying encouraging Geet to be strong as it was only few minutes away from coming out.

Geet felt her whole body shook with pain and she bit her lower lip as she started to push the baby out. Maan was holding her gently encouraging her to move on with it while she still clutched on to him; his hands and his chest pulling his shirt destroying some of its buttons. Maan felt a sudden change in Geet's movements as she did the final push, bringing their baby into the world. Maan bent down and embraced Geet and let out his withheld tears. His tears joined with hers as both of them let out their tears to flow freely together experiencing the joy of their life together.

Precap: Maan places a gentle kiss on the baby's forehead and wipes off his tears.

Sorry sweeties, I did this in a rush and could not think how to write as I captured Maneet moment as above.....I hope it is fine and next part is the baby part.....Guess is it a girl or a boy😆😆😆Really need your views......Please do comment to read the next part soon😆😆😆
