why ruin K character to show P's stronger

Is it necessary to ruin Krishna's character to show Pratigya's charater stronger. Why can't these TV people come up with better idea. They bring brilliant actors to play Male lead character, they treat the character really well until they fall in love with their ladies ( Pefect humans kinds). Once they fall in love...THAT IS IT. CV's make sure that the chemistry BW the couple click, they work really hard on this part though. Once their purpose of making us fall in love with the JODI, and once the leads fall in love with eachother they only use Male leads as a prop to facilitate tasks of their female protagonist. BTW they do make sure that we get some romantic scenes here and there to keep viewers glued to their show.

Exactly because at this stage every one starts to drool over the male lead and then suddenly he dose something wrong and everyone jumps to his rescue. Is Krishna's Character that vulnerable that he needs such blind support??
