The bell rang. Their class was over. Before moving out of the class, the professor said,

Sir : Geet, you have 3 days to complete your previous work, The work isn't too much so you should be easily able to complete it in 3 days. And Maan, you're responsible fir her. Help her out. Is that clear to both of you?

Both : Yes Sir.

Sir : Good.

Having said that, he moved out of the class. The students went back to their chatting and gossiping. Geet looked around, she saw many different groups of students. But Maan was sitting alone. Although he was sitting with Geet but he was alone. He did not mix up with any of the students. He just sat alone reading a book. Being Geet, she couldn't keep quiet and decided to ask him.

G : Maan?

M : (without looking up from his book) Kya hai?

G : Tum akele kyun baithe ho?

M : Tumse matlab!

Geet was a little hurt. She didn't say anything. She thought that maybe Maan was angry with her as she didn't even thank him. While she was thinking, Maan looked upto her. Maan thought, "Lagta hai main kuch zyada hi rude ho gaya. Woh toh bus yoon hi puch rahi hogi – Stop it Maan. You're losing it. Galti uski hai meri nahi. Haan!" He went back to reading his book.

G : Maan?

M : Ab kya hai?

G : Thank you and I'm sorry . 😊

M : Kya? Kyun? 😕

G : Thank you mujhe college tak lane ke liye aur Sorry kyunki main tumse itni buri tarah baat karke, tumhari car ko hurt kar ke aur bina ek Thank you bole, yahan chali aayi.

M : It's okay.

G : Sachi?

M : Hmm.

G : Thank you! 😊

M : Hmm.

Suddenly a thought entered his mind. " Yeh maine kya kar diya? Maine toh decide kiya tha ki I won't accept her sorry. Fir kyun, kyun maine uska Thank you aur sorry accept kar liya? Dude, yeh mujhe kya ho raha hai? Yeh ladki mujhe pagal kar degi."😆 He promised himself not to repeat it and control himself. At that time, a boy came upto Geet and said,

B : Hi, my name is Rahul. Naam toh suna hi hoga? 😉

Maan thought, "Rahul! The biggest flirt here! Ise toh aana hi tha, ladki dekhi nahi ki flirt karna shuru! Aise logon se mujhe sakht nafrat hai! I just hope Geet doesn't come in his sweet sweet talks. Wait a minute --- Why am I so concerned? Aati hai toh aaye! Huh!"

G : Naam toh suna hai, bhot common hai na! 🤢

Maan laughed in his mind. "Kya jawab diya hai. I'm sure Rahul has got the best answer of his life". 👏

Rahul had really got a big shock and was even a little angry. 😡 He was undoubtedly good-looking but his face reflected his mind, it reflected Evilness. He controlled himself and said,

R : Hmm. Very witty haan?

G : Woh toh main hoon,

R : So, umm, hi!

G : Hi.

R : So Geet, friends?

G : Main apne dost itni aasani se nahi banati. So let's see! Now bye.

Rahul went back to where his friends were sitting.

Maan thought," Maza aa gaya. No girl has ever talked to Rahul like this. Well he deserves it. It's good that Geet didn't become friends with him. He is a bad guy." 😉

Geet started murmuring to herself.

G : Pata nahin kahan kahan se aa jate hain dosti karne! Us gadhe ke toh chehre pe hi likha tha ki usmein kuch gadbad hai. 😡

M : Geet, acha kiya jo use bhaga diya. He is not a good person.

G : Use? Use kise?

M : Rahul ko.

G : Tum sun rahe the? Maan, kisi aur ki baatein sunna achi baat nahi hoti. Toh tum humari baatein kyun sun rahe the? Kabhi kabhi toh tum par doubt hota hai! 😆

M : Uhh.. woh main.. main toh bas .. (to himself) Geet is right. Main inki baatein kyun sun raha tha? And why am I happy ki Geet didn't make friends with Rahul. I'm seriously losing it. (to Geet) Woh.. haan! Geet, shayad tum bhool rahi ho ki tum bilkul mere side mein baithi ho, toh mere na chahte hue bhi tumhari baatein mere kaano mein pad rahi thi. Samjhi? Aur please apne yeh faaltu "doubts" apne paas hi rakho.

G : Whatever.

M : Aur ab baat maine shuru kari hi thi toh let me complete it now! Rahul is not a good guy. He's the biggest flirt here. Sometimes, I doubt his intentions.

G : Hmm. Mujhe bhi yehi laga uske chehre se.

M : My suggestion would be ki tum usse door raho.

G : Main jaanti hoon! Itni akal toh mujh mein bhi hai!

M : Oh really? 😆

G : Oh yes! 😆

M : Fine!

G : Huh! Tumse na baat karma hi bekaar hai!

M : Toh karti kyun ho?

G : Galti toh sab se hoti hai!

M : Haan aur sab se badi galti hui Bhagwaan se jinhone tumhe yahan bhej diya! 😆

G : Dekho ---

M : Kya? Kya dekhoon haan?

G : Ab zyada ho raha hai haan!

M : Acha main bolun toh zyada ho raha hai? Subah se jo tumhari bakwaas sun raha hoon, uska kya?

G : Bakwaas? Main bakwaas karti hoon?!

M : You said it, I didn't! 😉

G : Tum apne aap ko bhot smart samajhte ho na!

M : Samajhta nahi hoon, smart hoon! 😉

G : Yahi galatfehmi tumhe le doobegi!

M : Tumse baat karne se acha hai main apna sar deewar pe peet lun!

G : Please do the honours! I would love to see that!

M : Not so soon dear! 😉

Maan suddenly realized that he had addressed Geet as 'dear'. 😲 "Oh God! Yeh mujhe kya ho raha hai? Dear? Aur woh bhi Geet? This word never existed in my dictionary, fir maine kaise bol diya? Woh bhi Geet ko? Pata nahi woh mere baare mein kya soch rahi hogi? Hold on --- Why am I concerned? Use jo sochna hai woh soch le! I don't care! Haan!"

Geet on the other hand, was shocked. 😲 "Dear? Is monkey ko aise shabd bhi aate hain? Strange! Mujhe toh laga tha ki ise bas 'Hmm' hi karna aata hai!" She thought of pulling his leg a little. 😆😉

G : Kya baat hai Maan! Tum toh ache shabd bhi bolna jaante ho! 😉

M : Dekho ---

G : Dikhao na Maan! 😆

M : Geet!

G : Haan Maan?

M : Mera woh matlab nahi tha!

G : Toh kya matlab tha Maan? Samjhao na! 😆

M : Shut up Geet! Mere muh se bas aise hi nikal gaya tha!

G : Ohho Maan! Tum toh mazak bhi nahi samajhte! I was just kidding! Waise Maan, bura na maano toh ek baat bolun?

M : As if main mana karunga toh tum chup ho jaogi! 😛

G : Yeh bhi theek hai! Haan toh main yeh kehna chahti thi ki koi bhi baat bas aise hi muh se nahi nikal jaati! Har baat ke peeche ek wajah hoti hai!

M : Matlab? 😕 ❓

Geet just smiled. 😊😉

At that time, someone from outside shouted,

"GEET!"

Geet turned around and saw Meera waving at her! She jumped with excitement on seeing her sweet sis and ran towards her! 😃

Maan just sat there, thinking about what she had said. She had said very simple lines but they held a very deep meaning in them. "Aakhir Geet kehna kya chah rahi thi? Aur mujhe baar baar uske saamne kya ho jata hai? Main khud ko control kyun nahi kar pata hoon? Aur mujhe use dekh kar itna alag alag sa kyun feel hota hai? I have never experienced this before. What is happening to me? I have to find out!" 😕

He looked at Geet who was talking to Meera. Her expressions were just like a child's. So innocent and so cute! 😳 "Focus dude!" 😆And so Maan went back to reading his book!
