Waiting

I shall not think of those things today;
Tomorrow may never be.
Tattered and torn with broken mast,
My ships are all lost at sea

And I know they never shall be found,
These ships of mine
But shall drift ghost like
With the winds of time.

But I shall not worry about those things today,
For in some vast blue tomorrow ages away
Somewhere Somehow T'will all be right.
And shattered dreams mended,
That are dead tonight.

I shall not dream no more,
Nor think of the wild sweet rose,
Or her nectar to drink.
I will not worry about those things.
Tis too late
But do those things which seem so dear,
And wait
