Selena to dressup Like Katy Perry

Tue, 12 October 2010 23:41:02 ET Halloween is still more than a month away, but Selena Gomez has already decided on who she will be dressing up as on the festive day. In a live chat with Just Jared on Monday, September 20, the Alex Russo of "Wizards of Waverly Place" unraveled she will channel Katy Perry for the annual holiday.

"I'm going to be Katy Perry for Halloween," the 18-year-old songstress spilled the beans. She went on to give her fans a picture image of which unique costume she will be donning. The former girlfriend of Nick Jonas detailed, "It's the 'California Gurls' [music video] outfit with the blue hair. I'm so excited."

Selena has teamed up with 25-year-old Katy in a song included in her second studio album with The Scene, "A Year Without Rain". Back in late July, she revealed to Hollywood Life, "Katy Perry gave me a song, and she did background vocals on it. The whole experience was really fun, and I knew what I wanted to do with this album."

In another interview, the star of "Ramona and Beezus" has revealed her paranoia about Twitter. "It makes you really paranoid," she told W Magazine. "It's not like 'Cut - that's a wrap!' and you can continue to be a normal person. You have to continue to be on. It's scary that you constantly have to be looking around."
