Alright guys!
While I was away - Thought of this story. The depth of my boredom. 🤣 Though, I must inform you that if you have a problem of getting addicted to FFs, don't read it. 😉 Not 'cause it's good. 😆 Two reasons:
1- I'm a very, very bad writer - To my dear ones dismay. 😆
2- I never finish my FFs. 🤣
If these two things don't bother you - Sure, go ahead! Showed it to Raisy. For some reason she liked it. *Shrugs* 😆
So, here goes nothing -
Meant To Be Together
Twenty-four year old Adi was in a huge dilemma. Maan Singh Khuranna was returning from London today.
It is not like he was scared of Maan Singh Khuranna or anything - Ok, maybe he was, but he simply loved working for Maan Sir. Even though Adi suspected if the man ever smiled, he knew that Maan Singh Khuranna was an impartial and a conscientious man. Adi respected that about him.
He must seemed heartless to the world, but Adi knew that Maan Singh Khuranna was definitely not what he wanted people to see.
He was an enigma, a mystery. He was simply Maan Singh Khuranna.
But right now, Adi was clueless on how to announce the news to Maan Singh Khuranna. He was pacing in frustration and occasionally mutterring nonsenses, when Pinky burst into his cabin -
"Adi! You're here! Great! Chalo Pizza Khane Chalte Hain!"
Adi turned to look at his friend. She was Pinky Chedda. Khuranna Construction's receptionist. She was short and chubby. They'd known each other for three years, and all these years, Adi has never known Pinky to think about anything else, but food.
"Not today, Pinky. Not in the mood."
"Not in the mood? Lekin Kyun, Adi? Please?"
"Kyun Ke Aaj Bohut Badi Problem Hone Wali Hai."
"Problem?"
"Yes. Maan Sir is coming back today!"
Gasping, Pinky squealed with delight. "DD is coming Back?!"
Adi smiled at the word DD. Every female in the office called Maan Singh Khuranna 'DD', meaning Dhak-Dhak. There was no doubt that the aloof Maan Singh Khuranna was indeed every girl's unfulfilled fantasy.
But too bad, Maan Khuranna simply loathed women. That's one reason why India's hottest and richest man was still a bachelor. Single.
"Haan. Lekin Ek Problem Hai -"
"Problem? What Problem, Adi?" For the second time, Adi turned to look at the doorway. Standing there was Sasha, his colleague, and right next to her was Tasha, her junior side-kick. They were like Devil's twin daughters, sent to earth by Devil himself.
"DD is coming back!", announced Pinky excitedly.
"WHAT!?", asked Sasha furiously.
"Oh my! DD is coming back! So hot!", said Tasha.
"Tasha!"
"Oh. Silly me!", said Tasha meekly.
Ignoring Tasha, Sasha pointed her finger at Adi. "MK Aaj Arahey Hain Aur Tum Mujhe Ab Bata Rahey Ho! Don't you think you're supposed to come to me first and inform!"
"No, because I'm not your s-servant, Sasha! Mujhe Waisey Bhi Abhi Todhi Dair Pehley Pata Chala Hai."
"Great! Todhi Dair Pehley! Listen Adi -"
"No. You listen to me, Sasha! We don't have time to argue today. We are already in a big mess. Now, we have to figure out, Yeh Problem Maan Sir Ko Kaisey Bataein."
"Problem? Kaun Si Problem?", asked Sasha curiously.
Adi sighed and looked at the three women in front of him. "When Dev and Vicky Sir left Khuranna Constructions, their shares went on market, right?"
"Right!", they replied in unison.
"Well. Those shares have been bought."
"Bought? So?", asked Tasha in confusion.
Because Sasha was listening, she frowned. "Iska Matlab - Oh no! MK has a new PARTNER! Already!? MK himself wanted to buy those shares. He will be furious!"
Always count on Sasha to hit the mark, thought Adi.
"Haan. Toh Kya Hua? Humare DD Ki Jaga Woh Todhi Le Sakta Hai!", said Pinky.
Adi was getting more frustrated by the minute. "Pinky, Yeh Koi Cricket Match Nahin Hai and plus, this is not it. There's more!"
"More?", asked Tasha. "Matlab Story Abhi Baaki Hai?"
"Tasha!", said Sasha.
Ignoring them, Adi continued. "M-Maan Sir's new partner, Handa, is in A-America - "
"America?", asked Sasha.
Then she got it, "Oh. My. God! Handa! You mean The Handa Corporation! Woh MK Ka Partner Hoga? They are ... they are ... Billionaires!"
"Wow!", exclaimed Tasha. "When is he coming?", she asked excitedly.
"This is the main problem." Adi swollowed. "Not h-he - Sh-She. She is coming tomorrow. M-Maan Singh khuranna's n-new p-p-partner is none other than the heiress of H-Handa Corporation herself ... Geet Handa."
