Why TaSha's a special jodi

There are so many good looking couples in the telly world. I've lost count. Yet, it's only once in a blue moon that you find a couple who cross the obvious boundaries and come to mean a lot more than two people in love.

I've followed a lot of Ekta serials and yes, there were some interesting jodis there. But Ekta being Ekta spoilt it for me every single time. Though I've killed the dreamer in me(well almost), there's this part of me that sighs in happiness every time I see someone falling in love. For me, the process is very important. And I go dizzy with happiness every time there's the ghisa pita scene of how the hero hates the heroine at first, but can't resist her and eventually manhandles her and lets her know that she's his alone. Well, those scenes appeal to the M&B reading, unemancipated part of my soul.

And then there's the age old formula of ugly duckling winning the heart of the Perfect Guy. Well, this is why Jassi, and partly Pride and Prejudice are favorites.

LTL, for me, was another story like this. I started watching it coz I wanted to see her transform, I wanted to see the guy falling for her like crazy. What I didn't expect was the marriage. I loved the way he kept hating her after the marriage. If he'd fallen for her halfway, it'd have become like any other serial. But no, it was a slow process. The cliff scene where she refuses to leave him must've been the moment. Then came Jagtap, and his realization that she was the One, his true love.

I didn't expect him to fall in love with the dark Nakku. But he did fall for her simplicity and her goodness. It made him a hero in my eyes. It wasn't like the other serials where the hero conveniently falls for the girl at first sight, or just coz of her adaas, all that is plain lust in my opinion.

There's something so pure about the TaSha relationship. He's worldly wise, but somewhere he's shy when it comes to expressing his love. Yes, there will be intimate, more sensual scenes later(hopefullyšŸ˜†),but for the moment what amazes me is the way they're content with talking to each other with their eyes, the way their hearts call out to each other in distress, and the way they're just talking to each other. Also, love's not being in front of each other. Their love makes them happy, but it doesn't necessarily mean they're oblivious to the rest of the world always. There's that contentment on Dutta's face, in his life which is proof enough that he's found true love. There's this glow about Naku coz she knows she's loved for herself and not for the color of her skin. Ah, a guy who loves her for what she is, just the way she is. Isn't that what she'd wished for all along?

Naku knows him inside out, he's an open book. But I want him to get to know herbetter. I know, he's still like a turbulent sea, but unless he learns to trust her implicitly, and understand her reasons for hiding her truth, he'll never be perfect.

I've read/watched so many stories where at the end, inspite of having promised the girl the world, the hero disowns her at the slightest hint of trouble. It irks me. Somehow I want TaSha to be above that. The creators have fleshed out the characters so beautifully and etched their souls so well! And I do believe, the greater a person's soul, the deeper he loves. So TaSha, rise beyond the obvious and be my perfect jodi. Love you!

Liz you are indeed beautiful narrator..........you have written it so well and I agree..................For Tasha to be perfect jodi, Its imperative that dutta understand nakushas' reason for hiding her face in depth ..for dutta I still feel he need to know Nakusha much better........he should try to delve into her mind................and get her thoughts out.......which he has not done so far........he is in love and happy now........in his heart and mind she is always right..........now for his love to surpass threshold of true love he has to accept nakusha's true face willingly and he has to trust her blindly.....he should evaluate what this girl has done for him so far rather than get swayed away after hearing someone saying bad about Nakusha.........I will love dutta more when he will understand misery and should not let her go through any agniparkisha , I want him to take his time but should not call her his enemy or dhokebaaz......or else I will be damn disappointed if he tagged her dhokebaaz.

U write really well Liz. TaSha has been a perfect jodi so far...perfect in their imperfections. Thats the reason why Liz I want the show to conclude at a logical point rather tahn go on forever(the reason why Ekta's jodis get spoiled after a point). I hope as long as the show airs the jodi doesnt disappoint me.

He's worldly wise, but somewhere he's shy when it comes to expressing his love.....This is one of those paradoxes to him that I just find REALLY adorable and they make him unique to me....personally I'm not a fan of the typical loverboys on TV overdosing on "hawtness"🄱🄱🄱

what amazes me is the way they're content with talking to each other with their eyes, the way their hearts call out to each other in distress, and the way they're just talking to each other. I LOVE that about them....that is one of the aspects to their story that I think has been beautifully handled by the writers so far.

Isn't that what she'd wished for all along?Again so nicely put.....there are many love stories on TV which claim the usual cliches of how two ppl 'complete' each other....but DN are a rare pair on desi TV who's story has been so nicely handled, that we can tangibly see the purity, the simple and that is why beautiful serenity to their love.....like you said, we can see the contentment, the happiness in their eyes cuz they know how much the other loves them....it doesn't feel superficial....it feels real.

Naku knows him inside out, he's an open book. But I want him to get to know her better. I know, he's still like a turbulent sea, but unless he learns to trust her implicitly, and understand her reasons for hiding her truth, he'll never be perfect. I too want him to get to know her better....but given the tricky situation that they are in, he won't get to know her fully until her truth is revealed....and the guilt of hiding that from him will always keep a certain part of her closed off from him.....that is a bridge that they will have to cross one day......only after he reconciles to that truth and learns to accept it will he reach that level of implicit trust....but honestly, why does he need to be perfect? His imperfections are part of what makes him special😊

I've read/watched so many stories where at the end, inspite of having promised the girl the world, the hero disowns her at the slightest hint of trouble. It irks me. Somehow I want TaSha to be above that. I totally agree....many pairs have lost their charm cuz of this.....I always find it quite ridiculous how trust seems to erode overnight after long winded speeches of "eternal love" and whatnot....just ends making a pair look superficial and pathetic then.....really hope too that they make DN rise above such stupid cliches and don't ruin their relationship for the sake of silly "twists"

Awesome post Liz. Tasha is indeed is a special jodi and what makes them special is they are different from other couples in every aspect. They dont need words to express their love or concern and most of the time they can read each other's mind. They arent as romantic as other couples but their slightest gestures make us overjoy. If i must say they romance thru their eyes which is lovely to see. the best part is they donot try to force their love on each other.I am happy that i am hooked to such a different yet delightful serial and Tasha are not just a couple on screen but a part of my daily life.

i love reading your posts liz... there is always somthing special about what you write..
this time it is the most special thing TaSha.. as you said there have been a lot of onscreen jodis we all have been watching since long but there is something very special and attractive about tasha.. i think they both compliment each other.. one has the thing that other lacks in.. as u said dutta is worldly wise which nakku isnt and nakku is emotionally strong and expressive which dutta isnt.. Dutta loves nakku even if she isnt beautiful . he loves her for her inner beauty.. nakku loves dutta not because he is handsome she loves him for what kind of a person he is.. even though she knows his profession is not at all of a gud guy.. their relationship is beyond the pisycal attraction.. it is eternal.. it is pious. The most important part of the relationship is that even if two people are not perfect when they are put together they become perfect.
this is how we people think and most of us take our relations foward with this mentality that we need to complimnet each other to complete each other... this is what i think relate us to Tasha..

WOW LIZ gud jobšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
U told everyhtng. Tasha is one such couple which is not always mushy. They hav not fallen in love with each other at one sight. Nor do they love each other for their physical appearance. But they love each others hearts which is for me PURE LOVE. And Tasha a vry special couple indeed. Coz they know each other vry well and they understand each other. They speak through their eyes and are vry comfortable with each other. So Tasha for me is SPECIAL and will always be SPECIAL.ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø

Sigh, that's true. I just hope they fulfill all our desires with regard to TaSha before they conclude it. 😊
