Part 1
Kabir & Jyoti are having a romantic moment. He tells her he can't bear to see her unhappy, & that the absense of a kid can only be compensated by another kid, & tells her that they start planning š He then asks her to rest.
Next morning, while Kabir is getting ready, Jyoti's phone rings, and Kabir calls her, and is about to pick it up when Jyoti grabs it, and tells Pankaj that it's a wrong number. She then goes down and changes the name from Pankaj-ji to something else.
She then calls Pankaj, and Pankaj tells her that by saying wrong number & cutting the call, she did the right thing, and if she keeps it up, she'll get her daughter very soon (Jyoti, how can you believe anything he says, when he went back on his word to turn Roshni over?) Pankaj then asks whether Kabir was w/ her when she cut the call, and she tells him that it's none of his business š Pankaj tells her that everything in her life is his business 𤢠Pankaj tells her that he called her b'cos he's bored of dining alone, & so wants dinner w/ her, and calls her @ 8:00pm. (Pankaj now sounds exactly like the old Brij - looks like Brij, after becoming a saint, lost his villainy to Pankaj and moved on šš¤£)
Jyoti tries to reason w/ him (why not treat him like you treated Brij, Jyoti? W/ absolute contempt?) She tells him that she lives in a family & is accountable to them, and as it is, lied that day, and Pankaj tells her to lie once more. Jyoti tells him he won't. Pankaj tells him 8 o clock, & Jyoti tells him she won't, & cuts the call. Pankaj tells himself that Jyoti will have to come - either willingly, or not.
Jyoti is worried (again, why?) as she watches Reshmi & Bhavri tend to Jeet. Reshmi notices the look on her, and tells Jeet that he's being filthy by refusing to change clothes. So Jyoti goes up & encourages him.
CS then passes, & remarks sarcastically that all the bahus have abandoned all work & are totally attentive to a baby (Bahurani, I'm sure you dutifully ignored Vikrant when he was a baby, and attended to your chores such as cooking & cleaning) Bhavri tries to encourage her to help her grandson change, but CS is still pissed. CS tells her that she's not yet accepted this relationship, & warns her to remember this b4 opening her mouth next time. Jyoti asks why Jeet is crying so much? Bhavri says that they cry & stop & will - Jyoti won't know this, since she's not a mom as yet. Jyoti turns to her, shocked.
CS says that it's good that Jyoti is not a mom. They accepted a divorcee, but had it been known that she had a kid from her first marriage, she'd never have been accepted into this family. (Jyoti, Kabir's support notwithstanding, take this as a cue to tell Pankaj to do his worst, and stop bothering about Roshni)
Part 2
Jyoti asks Kabir why he hadn't told his family that she had had a baby? (It's reasonable for him not to if you had lost it, silly girl) Kabir admits that he had not, but explains to her that when he had approached his father, given the circumstances in which they married, he couldn't. As it is, it was her past, which he had nothing for or against. Plus people do stay silent for their own reasons.
Jyoti tells him that wrong things are wrong things, and if it came out tomorrow, they'd be embarrassed (Jyoti, does that also apply to your current dealings w/ Pankaj, or are you still going to be the hypocrite you always were?) Kabir tells her that if she wants, he'll tell everybody, and he won't allow her to be embarrassed, nor will he be embarrassed himself. He'd also tell everyone that despite knowing this, he wanted her, wants her and will keep wanting her.
Kabir then offers to take her and announce this to everybody, but Jyoti refuses, and tells him that as it is, there enough people w/ grievances against her, and she doesn't want it to escalate. Kabir tells her that it's their secret, and he won't allow it to come out, and if it does, he'll stand by her. As it is, it's her past. Forget about it - they did make a new beginning š (Jyoti, good advice - leave Roshni to Pankaj, & don't bother about him or her. If he does anything to her, let the law handle it.) Jyoti thinks to Kabir that she can't forget it, since it's resurfaced in front of her, and that her daughter is alive, & she needs it back. (Jyoti, either keep it a secret & give up Roshni, or announce it w/ Kabir's support, be honest w/ him & get her back. Don't try having it both ways - it'll be worse for you)
Later, Reshmi asks Jyoti what's the matter, & Jyoti tells her that Kabir hadn't told anyone about her pregnancy. She tells Reshmi that she understands why he did it - after all, she's doing the same thing, and is very afraid of what might happen. Reshmi tells her that she's fully confident that Kabir will support her if he knows the truth. Jyoti agrees, but wonders about the rest of the family - will they accept her? (I'll give you the breakdown, Jyoti - Asha, Bhavri & Reshmi will support you, Chachi, Manthara, Vikrant & probably Sumer will oppose you, Raghu & RP will be neutral)
Asha then joins them & looks worried, and tells Jyoti that tomorrow, the medical reports of her & Sumer are supposed to be out. (Oh, so she did see a doctor along w/ him? Good) Jyoti assures her that since it's Navratri, everything will be okay.
Sumer sees them from behind, and thinks they've gone mad, since he's fully confident of his manhood, and so he'll win, and the barren lady would lose.
Part 3
Kabir invites Jyoti into a room, which he has decorated w/ their pictures for a romantic evening. Jyoti admires it all (indeed, it's worth a creation) and asks him? (I can understand Jyoti's embarrassement - if I walked into a room w/ a million pics of me, I'd feel pretty dull š - Kabir should have put his as well) He tells her that it's Roshni, who can't say much, and asks her if she understands what he's saying š
He then tells her that she's feeling the loss of her kid, and for her to smile again, she needs a kid. She will glow like a 100W bulb if she has another kid. Jyoti is happy.
The phone rings again, and Pankaj, while seemingly pinching Roshni to make her cry, tells Jyoti that Roshni is crying, and asks her to come quickly. Jyoti turns to Kabir, who's apparently lost in her pictures. It's obvious that she's torn b/w the 2.
Precap
Jyoti gets out of bed while she & Kabir are in bed, and leaves the room. She walks a few steps, & is shocked @ what she sees in front of her (not sure whether this is a dream, but the first time in a long while that they are showing Jyoti precaps)
Comments
After the way Jyoti tried to cover up Pankaj's number by changing his name, I've stopped having sympathies for her, like many others. Now, the characterless tag that Jyoti was falsely accused of is looking increasingly accurate. 𤢠Honestly, however, I didn't think of Pankaj as a psycho when he kidnapped Roshni, but I do think of him as one now, when he's trying to destroy Jyoti's marriage.
Jyoti, why not tell Pankaj that you're pregnant w/ Kabir's kid, and therefore, are tainted as far as he goes? It doesn't have to be true - since you've had to unwillingly lie to Kabir, why not willingly lie to Pankaj? But if she is pregnant, she can be as irritable as she likes during pregnancy, & take it all out over the phone on Pankaj - scream @ him, call him names....
Let's see what Sumer's test results show, since this Pankaj track is genuinely irritating.
