Geet is now dejected, believing the lies that Naintara tells her, thinking that Maan has rejected her for not telling him earlier about Dev. Aditya ' the suave, young NRI who has come to India with a purpose ' meets Geet quite by accident.
Circumstances will bring Geet closer to Aditya and his young nieces, often making Geet face newer and bigger challenges in her life. Her association with Aditya will also cause a confrontation with Maan, opening up several new questions.

She is happy to see her old friend again, after several years, but is shocked when Dev confesses to her about betraying Geet for money. Being the woman of principles that she is, she forgives Dev, realizing that he is truly repentant for his mistake.
On the show now, Meera is angry with Dev for not telling her the complete truth about Geet. Meera, who had decided to give Dev the benefit of doubt earlier, is now bent on breaking off all ties with him on learning that he consummated his marriage with Geet before abandoning her.
