Intensity of Love in Separation

OCT 15th: Following is the poem inspired by Maan's smile and the reason behind that smile:

Her face illuminates the balance of perfect beauty and a sadness harrowed,
She weeps, as she remembers a heart once borrowed,
This splendor is unearthly, this passion too unreal, soon the truth will suddenly unfold,
This ghostly apparition, though of beauty absolute, has a soul where much sorrow seeped,
Her countenance reflects the stare of a true love's soul,
Is she a memory dragging me from death's door.

No wall can hesitate, nor break,No chain can hold, nor torment,
Thinking thoughts, dreaming about the girl, out the window,
The essence of her quiet features is a question most complex, but surely, she is real
Yes indeed, she is real and my wounded heart has healed for a while
Staying here all alone, I heard a softly sighing, gently prying kind of crying song.
It sang to me; to me it sang. The heart whispered to me it is time to smile.

OS: Silent Promises

OCT 14th:

Is it just me or does anyone else agree that the CVs will now explore a new phase of love where separation also re-defines love, just the way they used 'I hate you' to exemplify the intensity of true love. Whether you are alone or physically surrounded by many people, your soul keeps calling to your humsafar always. Even simple things reminds them of their love. Each time their songs hang lonely in the air, voices grow and die as they move. Emptiness that strangely they can share and miss yet not miss each other when at once they are not there, but ever present.

Following poem by Nicholas Gordon seems to sum it up for me:

Although we have to be apart,
We'll always be together,
Close enough in mind and heart
To manage any weather.

Reality is often bleak,
But love remains inside
A glass house on a mountain peak,
The wintry world beside.

Love can build its own four walls
And heat its own small room.
Through icy winds and blinding squalls,
Love can be in bloom.

Though continents drift far downstream
And mountains disappear,
And life dissolve into a dream,
Our love will still be here,
You'll turn, and I'll be here.

This is awesome dude! The poem is really apt for this plot. But what I want to know is how long will they show this separation. I don't want it to be more than a week...otherwise I'll have to go back on my own words. But then, it may be totally interesting. Dekhte hain.

We kinda do share similar sentiments...so it is always a pleasure to read your take. I was looking for your comments on today's thread..don't think I saw any other than appreciating the title. Do visit us more often. I feel I have company :-)

And also, keep these posts coming....I like it.

Thanks. That is very encouraging. Are you going to write any OS/FF regarding this track?

Sri ... first of all, kudos to this lovely post. very heart warming. very true to maan's feelings. i have yet to see geet's to say the same for her. o boy, Dol will kill me here ... hehehehhehe 😳😉

Sri ... i still remember the day when maan held her tight, looked directly in her eyes and said, "I hate you Geet." That moment gave me goosebumps. it was such a beautiful way of maan to say, "i love you soooo much geet, it hurt .. its hurts like crazy ...." i can keep going on and on about that one magical moment ... loved it sooo much.

you are soo right. judai/separation sometimes takes love to new levels. Level, which can only be felt when u feel u have lost the one person u have loved soo dearly.

Emptiness that strangely they can share and miss yet not miss each other when at once they are not there, but ever present. Brilliantly said Sri .... sooo beautiful .... what an amazing expression of - tum meray paas hotay ho goya, jab koee doosra nahi hota.

and my fav part of the poem:
Love can build its own four walls
And heat its own small room.
Through icy winds and blinding squalls,
Love can be in bloom.

wah wah wah ... how true is that. love alone has the power to do everything for us. if u have true love, no problem is big enough. for together we can pass it all.

Lovely post Sri. thanks for the PM 😊

Love, K

Good post indeed :) It does seem that the CVs will go down that route. I guess even feeling pain during separation is a form of luv. And the the so-called hate or feel of betrayal is just another way of expressing that luv. It was evident in Thursday's episode, when Geet was thinking about her moments with Maan. And all that she kept on repeating was "Maan Sir." Geet and Maan share such an intense kind of luv, it's kind of on a spiritual level. So I think that we shall see that intensity even when they are apart :)

How about a scene about Maan when he is totally conscious and surrounded by family and friends, yet feeling lonely, but at the same time feeling Geet's presence in her very absence? (If you want to at the same time extend the scene to show Maan-NT confrontation starting with loss of taveez, I will not have any complaints.)
