Krishna , being a Thakur and brought up in such an MCP environment, doesn't like to be told what to do, especially by his wife. He loves his wife very much and cannot see her cry, but also does not like to be her student and follow her footsteps.
When Pratigya told him about him not working, he was very angry, but the next time when he met SS, he actually asked him about the 'tender' showing that he heard what Pratigya said, he agrees to what she says but will do in his own style. He wants to show that the decision is from his own mind.
He also believes that sex every night with his wife is his right, but when Prats refuses him, he just walks away, his ego hurt , instead of forcing himself on her , showing his respect for his wife.
I think his marriage is quite eye opening for him, all his life he saw women being kicked and abused at his home and now suddenly he has started feeling for these women in his life.
He is infact trying his best to balance his upbringing with what his wife is showing him which will take time,
shaadi to abhi hui hai.I think that makes Krishna a complex character and a force to reckon with.
p.s
Regarding why he did not resort to reasoning, have you seen his family? Will reasoning work? I think the sickle idea is the only language they will understand. Krishna , being Krishna, believes more in action. Remember , when he cut his wrist to marry Prats?
