Today's episode provided us with a short glimpse of him – yet the glimpse was merely enough to evoke thousands of different feelings within us. An image that says a thousand words? It was absolutely heart-wrenching seeing him in that condition. The way the blood oozed out from his body, the way he laid there defeated and injured. The process of watching a man whom was once so strong, so powerful, falling to such a dependent and vulnerable state is so depressing. How could such a disheartening portrayal still look so heart wrenchingly beautiful? The way his hands desperately clutched onto her duppatta as if in subconscious fear that he would lose her again. Despite tugging the dupatta, Maan didn't let go. His love is so immensely strong, that he refuses to part from Geet even at a unconscious state.
A simple scene like this – had rendered me speechless. Of all the romantic scenes that have been displayed, call me crazy! But this scene stood out for me. In truth, the intensity and extent of Maan Singh Khurana's love was in fact – revealed to us today. Trust me, this is coming from a person who cried tears of blood when Sharukh Khan died in Kal ho na ho, Daar (🤣 ROFL he was a bad guy as well), Ramjaane, Om Shanti Om (LOL!).😆 This is the very same person who was about to get up from the cinemas in Devdas to run towards the screen, screaming 'no DEVA' haha! This is the very same person who subconsciously went to a mental hospital herself after watching Salman Khan's tere naam and kyon ki. Call it insane! This is from the very same person who cried in Koi Mil Gaya when they broke Hrithik Roshans scooter (lame I know …). All in all, what I'm trying to say is that, despite having such a emotional history of movies, this scene had also evoked an emotion within me.
First and foremost, seeing him in such a condition was absolutely heart breaking. This shows the sad extent, my (our) love is for a fictional character. I simply could not see him with so much blood (fake I know) on him. And to top off that emotional scene, they even put a damn sad background score.
Now this is why we love GC. This is why he is irreplaceable! One minute was dedicated to him, and in that 60 seconds, millions NO trillions of feelings arose. That is what you call the beauty of direction, the beauty of music and the beauty of Gurmeet's splendid acting.
Loved it!
