Today, I shall not write anything about Ridz because you all read my post from yesterday. Let her cry in self pity for now....uska kuch nahin ho sakta. She is a basket case (literally)
If there is one thing memorable about DMG season 2 then it is the male bonding between Armaan and Sid. If we didn't have our regular lessons in geometry (triangles, quadrangles, circles) then this bond between the two male leads could have entertained us even more.
The two men have shown more logic in their interactions than the woman who rules their hearts. They have fought, they have gotten drunk together, they have called each other names but in the end they have communicated and bonded well with each other.
Loved their interaction at Armaan's house today. They were both at their comical best. The drunk scene was a bit OTT but very few actors can carry a drunk scene off naturally.
So, Sid is a practical man unlike Armaan. Sid wanted to get drunk, shed some tears, party after his heartbreak but then move on with his life. I was pleasantly surprised when he said that he would like to move on with his life now. I don't blame him- Ridz was a baggage for him that disabled him from moving ahead or concentrating on his career. Yes, he loves her but she is definitely not the right woman for him.
Armaan, on the other hand is our pagal premi who can never move on unless Riddhima is with him. Riddhima is his jaan, and only when she unites with him, will he be able to move on in life.
So, it is just as well, both men will get what they want in life.
Sid...wants to move on
Armaan...wants his dulhaniya
Wish best of luck to these two men and their friendship. If their friendship could survive a girl, I'm sure it can survive any hardship in life.
