The latest on Zee TV's Sangini star Iqbal Khan is that the poor guy's been admitted into a hospital. A battery of tests has revealed that the lady-killer is down with a bout of dengue.
Strictly advised by the doctors to take bed rest, the actor is out of action and unable to attend the shoot for his show. With the show's current track involving the actor in practically every scene, the production house is at a loss on how to deliver the episodes without him.
Last-resort measures such as body doubles for long shots and Iqbal's close-ups shot in his hospital room are being discussed. When we caught up with Iqbal, he looked visibly weak but still had his wits about him, He quipped , "God is kind! Perhaps, He felt that I deserved a break and some much-needed TLC from my wife! I'm going to take it easy for 5 days and try and get back to the sets as soon as possible".
Wishing him good health, Iqbal's co-star Binny Sharma said, "Iqbal's quite the life on the sets. We're missing him and hope he has a speedy recovery!" His other heroine on the show Aditi Gupta added, "Iqbal's a fighter. He'll be back on the sets in no time and will ensure that the producers have no worries at all!" … Get well soon, Iqbal!
