Anjaana Anjaani & Jab We Met.. the similarities..

I didnt notice.. but these two movies are sooooo alike in soo many ways ! Except for a few changes here and there obviously...if you've seen both these movies you can probably assume what I'm talking about...

I don't know I didn't really pay attention to AA that much when I was watching it, because I was bored to death! But I can def say if there is some similarities of AA and JWM, AA failed big time! Because AA sucked and JWM is still one of the most popular movies! It's not even close to what JWM was or is!

But i did notice some critics were comparing PC character to Geet's character in JWM! And now when I think of it, Ranbir character was similar to Shahid in JWM!

AA wasnt that bad, I guess you get bored when ALL the rom com movies in bollywood have EXACTLY the same storyline... But I still enjoyed it... I mean watching Ranbir ! <3 lol Yeah their are similarities ! Im not going crazy ! HAHA

YEah Ranbir was good in the film though! He was really natural in the film! I love Ranbir and all, but Shahid was better in JWM! :P

Hm..I didn't notice any similarities before this post..and I dont think there are alott..but yea the whole Aditya-Aakash, depressed thing is kinda similar. But in JWM, Geet was all lucky-go-happy kinda person..in AA, Kiara is suicidal as well..although she does turn out to be a fun person! Haha.

Overall, both are rom coms, so I'm sure we'll find some similarities, but yea I enjoyed both movies..AA a little more though. Haha.

Hmm..Akash is depressed over failed business. Aditya is upset over his failed relationship and his business issues, but his relationship more than anything.

Yes def Screenplay of JWM was better and also the performances in JWM was way better!

^He did have business loss but he was mostly depressed about the fact that his GF cheated on him and married somebody else..While Akash (Ranbir) was only depressed over the stock market crash..

JWM was so much better...AA was slow in the beginning, but post-interval is was awesome!! Ranbir is 100 times better than shahid...in my personal opinion! Ranbir comic timing is impeccable and brillant...he def stole the show...and he's amazing to look at especially when he's shirtless and wet!!! Shahid was boring in JWM! Kareena was def more fun to watch than PC partly b/c I thought her character was a little dramatic at times and i didn't like what kiara said to kunal when they get to san francisco! however...i don't think they were similiar b/c totally diff stories and characters...plus since both are romantic comedies...there's obvious gonna some similiarites b/c all RC have the same basic formula!
