It has come to our attention that several students are interested in enrolling at the Pratigya Middle School aka PMS. Here is a short brochure with information for students interested in enrolling.
Grade levels - 5-8 standards
There will be three classrooms.
Each class will have a student leader.
Your student body President is KRISHNA SINGH.
The three classroom student leaders are Komal, Tunwa and Chanduwa.
After school Tutors: Arushi and Adarsh
Placement of students will be dependent on skill levels among other factors. Please do not call the school or write letters to request placement in any particular class. The decision of the faculty will be final. Teachers for the three classes will be announced shortly.
SAAT Subjects taught at this school include
ENGLISH:
Read - Please bring favorite fairy tale to read to stoke your imagination
Write - Slate/chalk or notebook/pencil or IPad
SOCIAL BEHAVIOR:
Good Manners - Speak in English only, No local dialects will be allowed.
Proper Equiette - Socially acceptable public behavior
Civility - How to avoid fist fights, settle differences cordially
Responsibility - Towards family members and work towards financial security
MATH - To help in banking, measurements, basic math
MUSIC- Learn to sing for your own relaxation and joy
HOME SCIENCE:- skills like sewing, cooking, house cleaning, doing laundry
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION - skills required to hold a job after school hours
PHYSICAL EDUCATION - kabaddi, track events including marathon running, swimming, basketball, soccer
SAAT RULES THAT WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED
Respect the teachers
Bullying peers in the classroom or playground is not acceptable
Cell phones are not allowed during school hours
Eat your own snacks, do not forcibly take others' snacks
Simple attire, no fancy jewelry or accessories
Speak softly in the classroom in English only
Classroom brawls will not be tolerated
A student can and will be suspended and dismissed from P.M.S after SAAT violations of the above rules.
