DOTW: Can Sandhya marry Neeraj w/o Yuvraj divorce?

well Vrish what i feel is that yuvraj is neither a man nor a woman so i don't think their marriage at first place is leagal at all. so there's no need to divorce. she can happily go & marry neeraj without divorcing yuvi. that's what i think... let's see what others think🤔

Fair point, but for that, Yuvraj's sexuality would have to be publicly known for that to be accepted. Right now, everybody knows Sandhya as Yuvraj's wife, and if she marries Neeraj, anybody can challenge that claiming that she's committing polyandry. If she claims that the marriage to Yuvraj is invalid, she has to blow his secret, and if she does that b4 the Jagirdars are arrested, she puts the lives of all her 4 sisters in jeopardy.

Hence my question above. Of course, if the Jagirdars get busted & arrested b4 they marry, then there's no issue.

Vrish i agree that bringing out the yuvi's secret publicly is definitelly risking her sister's life. but there must be some way coz yuvi's secret really should be brought in front of the societly & he needs to be punished for what he's been doing. this goes as well for his family too!🤔

Hmmm, that's a tricky one. I hope they kill Yuvraj's character off in the end so that Neerdhya don't have to face any such legal issues! I highly doubt Yuvraj would agree to divorce her in exchange for her silence... he'd probably kidnap and torture her/both of them so that they wouldn't be able to blackmail him by threatening to expose his secret... I mean, letting them marry and live in peace would mean that Yuvraj would be accepting defeat... letting people who could at any time choose to reveal his secret (since Neerdhya would certainly not be bought off by anyone else) go free, and also letting go of the personal grudge he doubtless holds against both of them for running away and obliging him to chase after them rather than just quietly submitting to his threats and demands. And I doubt Yuvraj would be willing to let go so easily... he seems like quite a vindictive sort.

I wouldn't mind Yuvraj dying, but the other option I hope is that once the Jagirdars are busted, he's arrested and also sent to a mental asylum. In that situation, what Vik pointed out could be done - Sandhya could claim that her marriage should be annulled, since it was illegitimate in the first place unbeknownst to her, and the Jagirdars would be in jail & powerless to do anything. That would be a complete defeat & humiliation for them, and for Prabha & Yuvraj, worse than death. Although given all the murders Yuvraj himself did, his dying would be worth it as well.

But I'd like Neerdhya to marry in the middle and the story to progress to the arrest of the Jagirdars, and not them marry @ the end & live happily ever after. Also, I'd like Sandhya to regain her eyesight b4 all that.
