| Gurmeet, Drashti's illness postpones Geet-Maan engagement |
| The viewers of STAR One's top show Geet - Hui Sab Se Parayi will have to wait a little longer to witness the engagement of their favourite jodi, Geet (Drashti Dhami) and Maan (Gurmeet Choudhary). |
| The engagement sequence was supposed to be aired this week, but the lead actors Gurmeet and Drashti could not shoot due to their ill health. A source informs us, "Gurmeet has been hospitalized, and now, with Drashti too unwell, the shooting schedule is messed up". We spoke to Gurmeet's girlfriend, Debina Banerjee, about the turn of events. "Yes, the engagement sequence has been postponed, but Gurmeet's fans should understand that he has been hospitalized. They cannot expect him to jump out of the hospital bed and start shooting. If they cannot understand his situation, then they are not true fans", says a worried Debina. When asked about Gurmeet's health, she says, "He is recovering, but everything depends on how his body responds to the treatment". The latest in Geet is that everyone is worried after Geet goes missing, just before the engagement. On the other hand, Geet is haunted by memories of the past. She is in two minds whether she should reveal the truth about Dev to Maan. We would like to wish both Maan and Geet a speedy recovery, and hope that we get to see this good looking on-screen couple back on our TV screens soon.
