Would you choose 100 million over your daughter/son?

If yes -why?

If no-why?

I think a son or daughter is more important than the money
But some parents are willing to sell their kids, which is hard to understand.
I read some even cripple their children so they can beg. This is something which is hard to understand especially for people coming from India

The selling of children by their own parents is becoming more common in rural parts of India. Even when most parents found it difficult to let go of their children hand, they had already convinced that selling their children to a family with better living conditions would provide them at least with food. Once the extreme poverty and unemployment push parents to the edge, they are forced to make decisions once believed unthinkable. Moreover, statistics bestow the fact of India having a walloping Birth rate & the Net Reproductive Rate. Most of the families are credulous of having more than 3 kids. Certainly, loosing one kid wouldn't make a difference to them !

I don't plan to have my own kids. I think infants are the epitome of evil. Moreover, who wants to bear nine pounds for nine months and then push it out through a grueling process that can take anything from nine minutes to nine hours or more and then endure nine decades of suffering or death whichever comes sooner. Since I don't plan on having any kids I'll take the million dollars as my no child reward.

If by chance in a bizarre twist of fate, I do have a kid then – no way Jose. Over my dead body. Jesus, I'm just humanly evil not Satan's spawn. I'm not going to be selling my kid or promising first borns.

Indians are supposed to be more tolerant, underst.anding and compasssionate; so cruelty and torture should be something alien to their nature.

Since when did being human, cease being so and become an Indian trait. 😕Should cruelty and torture be something no human can digest and anyone who is human finds hard to understand? Its not just Indians or specially Indians.

This denies the Indians of being part of the complex human race. Leave alone India, there can not be any place on earth that tolerance, understanding & compassion will be attributed to them. While we may be proud of the things we might have professed, this should not fooll us to believe that just because we are aware of these things and everybody believes so , it is the reality. It has never been and will never be!!!

I don't want to get married. Just incase I do get married.. then, yes, I would like to(wouldn't mind rather) have a baby of my own - provided I'm all that rich enough to support and give my child the best.
And.. even if I don't get married, I would want to adopt a kid, provided I'm all that rich again. So, either ways, I'm gonna have a baby.. I don't want the money. What would I do with soo much money when I'd be having nothing to spend on except for some clothes, mansions and all??
