Your post seems really logical... It would make sense if all this would happen if Geet didn't tell Maan the truth (even if it was in her case, for his sake).

It could also be that she would hide the truth from maan for like half the week, but would tell him?

I feel Geet would hide it from him, but he'd find find out some other way.. (bad thing, bad thing 😵)

*Just some theories.. 😆

I just really don't hope the "fb rumor" is true.. (& i mean really it has a 50% chance of accuracy... 🤓)

Me personally wouldn't mind if she'd jus tell him at the engagement.. waise bhi there's gonna be too much drama on mon/tues. 🤣

I do not think this will happen unless the writers of Geet want to destroy this beautiful series. I think Dev will tell Maan before the engagement the whole truth and Maan true to his word, will tell Dev he now has to face the punishment Geet gives him. Geet on the other hand will forgive Dev for Maan's and dadi's sake.

True love does not betray, so Geet betraying Maan will be a contradiction. Until now, the writers of Geet have given us a fantastic love story. Hope they do not destroy this. I can say for sure the ratings will fall drastically if Geet and Maan break up. The series will definately lose most of its audiences.

Wat Unhappy thots you all have.

Whether Geet tell him the truth or not, MSK is not dense. He will figure it out and flatten Dev when he does. He won't doubt Geet. He's lived her hellish experience with her. As for the phone number...after he threw it in the bin...She told him that he was now the most important person in her life. Its symbolic of her attempting to move forward wit him. He's smart and will be able to ascertain that especially in light of their prior convo where she articulated that she wanted to move forward with him when he asked if he should find the culprit for her.

Maan may overreact if she leaves the engagement post confrontation with Dev. That will no doubt upset him and make him chase her for explanation and justification. Even push him to become aggressive, but doubt her truth? No. Especially as she has told him the whole story except for the name. There is little scope for misunderstanding of the regard suggested by Eveline here.

Hey lemme copy paste what i wrote elsewhere ... since i have a totally diff take on the whole issue....

the way geet has been going, its all been a positive sign.. i mean nothings gone wrong..after all the promises and the reactions maans been giving it would be a huge let down he turned bitter towards her ..

look they have given us enough hints ...

1. he has told dev, i will not forgive u if you do something thats irrepairable...

2. the number of hit and miss confessions between Maan and Dev- which aggravates the situation.. Maan can always hold it against him and might as well say .. you never intended telling me ever ... you can never be forgiven ..

3. maan talks about honesty in her eyes and about knowing her well, the proof, they showed it with the necklace, he said, he will niot ahve nothing fake ever again in their life... that just means he is going to keep up his promises ... he says, i know you are a self respecting girl thats why i am here to clarify that this one is for keeps and i am here to stay.

4. geet has not hidden anything from Maan so far-she has told him everything-if nothing, his respect for her might go up by a few notches if she doesnt tell him its Dev who did this- he doesnt know geet doesnt know this yet-so when he does, he will trust her more-and put the number story together and remember what she said, she treated the paper like crap.

5. Maan made it very clear he will not let NT mess with Geet, his brother or his family.. but he also sed, he will not forgive dev for his sins-he is a man who will stick by his words- he knows his brother was in wrong company and had messed with the family property.. there are episodes where maan asks him where he got all the money from and Dev says he doesnt wanna talk about it...

6. most importantly .. this is "maan ki geet" we are talking about .. his happiness and his selfishness lies in her ... do you think, he will let anyone tamper with that ... he will remember all those times she backed off cos she thought she was tainted and not worthy of him or his love... she lost her family her loves ones thanks to this man... and she was even ready to lose Maan for this... all the anger is mounting up inside the angry maan like a volcano .. when it erupts Dev is done for!!

so guys ... haso, jiyo khush raho .... Geet has some great times ahead ... take all the hints from the past ... and smile .. cos after all this pain Maan will not wanna let go of this woman who means the world to him!

here are a few more ... added by another friend of mine.. nandita ..

7. Dev never clarified how he arranged to pay half the debt , Maan had asked him this question first when they met in his cabin

8. Maan has the agents , property brokers number who had dealed b/w Dev & Maan for the sale of Geet's land

9. Sure passport carries proof of his Tndia visit & Maan is popular at the embassy Adi had mentioned it to Geet

10.Maan's first meeting with Geet was at the embassy itself

11. Geet has signed the registration paper at Amritsar as Geet Khurana not Handa

and lastly .... to say the least ....

we have proof if it counts ... Dev has been constantly enquiring about Geet from Pinky ..

why the hell did NT take Geet's file of all the people??? ...

if this counts ... Manchanda could recognise Dev ..

how could we forget Meera ... Dev has confessed all of this to her .. Meera could be the one bringing the truth out ....Meera respects Maan and has taken a liking to geet as well.. when she see's her crying after the confrontation, she will not obviously say .. ab usne sorry bol dia hai toh usey maaf kardo ... its not as easy as that ....

@honeydew...yaar tumhare mooh mein low fat low cal chocolates...and cakes and what not...😃..hope your positvity helps and comes true...!!! But honestly ..looking at the fact that this a soap...i m not ver hopeful for a normal natural track...there will be some twists and turns..that will twist our ankles!!😉

All your arguments are logical..and i myself have thought along the same lines...but its not upto us..its upto the cvs where they wanna take this story...we are alas..just viewers in the end!!

i agree completely with VJ..we are the makeers adn creators of this show..the victory and TRPs of this show...for sure..maaneet is ours to satay frovr..
