My take on Tumhari Disha - 17th May '05

good morning to all of u....after some romantic scenes its back to rumours..looks like TD will be back to the original story line of Rano dead in childbirth and Dish stepping in Rano's shoes. Is this the twist ?? (Hum Aapke hain kaun style...)

This post goes out to samy74 for completing 1000+ posts. I really like ur enthusiasm and samy74 TD forums will never be the same without ur posts and songs .....(btw i know that I am always guaranteed of one reply from u for every post of mine. Believe me I really look forward to that. Thank you).

It was a good episode with some lovely song (nahin lagda tere bina dil mera...hai....sajna aa bhi jaa) playing in the background.

But I guess I have to agree with my past comments and Fizak that though the scene was romantic the chemistry was kind of missing yesterday. (but it was intact in the bedroom scene 2.) Its kind of surprising that their chemistry is on and off...DK once again looked a bit lost in few of the scenes (not all. He looked convincing in a few sequences though). They once again gave DK the twirl scene in the rain....and I really don't have to repeat myself on the previous twirl scene. I shared the same views here as well. But the scene in the tea shop and when he sees those bangles he (Ashish) was good. In case of Dish as well I would say the same thing. Especially the scene when she hugs DK . The way she kept on closing and opening her hands (looked as if she was uncomfortable doing the scene). btw jingle, Fizak did u notice that ? Rest of the scenes she was OK. (dear chilly glad to know that u joined our club yesterday. Yes the rain scene was cute and romantic and I also wish they had shown it in a more subtle way...)

To give more details on the rain scene, DK was looking great. (still in his pale orange shirt with a coat minus tie ). Looked formal in a casual way. (what am i saying ?). Dish was looking beautiful in that yellow sari. Especially in the scene when it is raining and she is holding a red umbrella. She looked so innocent and sad waiting for DK to come and when she sees him coming. The slight smile that comes on her face and DK when he looks at her with he himself getting drenched slightly in the rain. This was one really nice scene.

DK finally notices the bangles. (guess Cr. Dr or someone passed on the message from us viewers). The reason given by DIsh was that she started wearing them when she realized what he (DK) means to her when he was away from her. of course we all know that she wore them when she was in Kanaka house. (its another story that DK and Sum did not notice them at that time). To give them the benefit of doubt DK was indeed away when she wore them (remember he had gone to Pune). So what Dish says is in a way true.

Now looks like Ved will misunderstand DK yet again. (I think that he did not notice Sum as she was already sitting in the car. He just saw Pori hugging DK). Yesterday itself he was kind of worried that DK did not want to attend the meeting. Let us see.

Pori really amazes me with her talent. With all her jhatak matak scenes she was convincing (as usual).

I am giving a miss to questions today. Well I hope that we continue to dissect this scene when u ppl also catch up and view this episode...

Great analysis as usual Swathi! You are the best when it comes to the ''My Take'' section! U beat Chilly's Comment Corner, hollow😳

Yep, even I thought the chemistry was kaput! Something just did not fit right...........infact, I remember some of the early DK-Disha scenes, where DK did not even have to touch her, and still the chemistry was electric! (I am referring to DK and Disha's meeting in his Office when he keeps telling her to call him by his name and does not lift his eyes from her - One of the most powerful scenes till date)

It happens many a times, that physical touch does not translate into incredible chemistry! But a look, a smile, a brushing of hands, an exchange of glances can spell wonders😊

All the die-hard romantics like me will know what I am yakking about! And DK looks really out of place in these lovey-dovey scenes, he is just not made for them! Though the entire rain sequence was cute and definitely romantic, the performances were out of sync, both DK and Disha's!

I can recollect much better one's between the 2 D's - their wedding sequence, the one in DK's bedroom after their marriage, the one in the police station and so many more.......but the magic seems to be waning now!

Anyway, the analysis was really, really good Swathi! You write very well, indeed!

PS : I happened to see the last scene of KYPH yesterday where Angad holds Kripa's hands - that was chemistry at its best!!! I am not comparing, just giving an example!😊

Thanks swathi for the take and the special words for me i am touched but TD wouldn't be the same without your i always look forward to reading your take and analysis and i can't help but hit the keyboard as it is so interesting that i have to pen my thoughts but believe me i feel like a chatterbox after 1000..I am touched and i wouldn't be here if all my friend weren't here as i have made lots becos of TD..oh Well coming back to TD.

I am still dreaming my god dream ep but i can imagine DK romantic scene he lacks that i can imagine i saw the ILU ep yesterday disha's confession it was a good one and i liked DK and disha chemsitry in it and how DK got ILU out of disha but ofcourse sum put spanner in works..

Anyway from reading the upate for yesterday i also think the best part probably woul dbe the tea scene seems sweet. Well bangles i believe it is either Ashish or CR becos we went on and on and surely they must have reported this back...

Well i guess enjoy the moment as more tears on the way but will disha marry DK and than get divorced and marry indeR? are these just rumors? i just hope they are as such a nice story will be ruined as the whole essene of story is DK and Disha's love story..

Even without DK touching Disha just when he used to come close to her used to send shivers down our spine 😳 but now kya se kya ho gaya 😭.

it is true that there was something missing in yesterday's episode😡........

well disha holding dk's hand and keeping her head on his shoulders and ordering for tea was very much similar to disha and mohit's behavoiur in an interview in a cafe for zoom tv ,even there she was holding mohit's hand in the same manner and oredering for coffee in the similar style

PS : One of you TD regulars should do a ''Best DK - Disha scenes'' post and then we can judge when was it that their chemistry was at its volatile best!!!

😉 jingle........i wonder how these people ( actors ) can enact such scenes ya without having any feelings for each other. I am sure somewhere dil ke taar tho zaroor bajenge...😳😕😆 Jingle 😆now u will ask me what it means it means when roughly translated that somewhere it will surely ring a bell in their hearts.....😳

👏..............sounds like it was an episode that we were awaiting 4a very long time...............aaaawwwww sounded so romantic that the 1st thing i thought of was a song from 1942-a luv story (rim jim rim jim, rum jum rum jum)............😉

& finally he noticed the bangles👏.............yeh writers ne hume itna intezaar karvaya..............but finally it did happen...........

disha finally tells dk "mein sirf tumhari disha"............wow, the lady has fallen hook, line & sinker...........

good points chilly/lata............i guess i can't really comment cos i did not watch the episode but i do agree about the chemistry dish/dk shared in earlier episodes where there was no physical contact but we as the audience felt the chill & shivers down our spines..........it was really electric.......
