Well I feel most of those laws against men are mainly for protection of the rights of women and to minimise their abuse. So I wouldnt call it biased. Its not for special treatment of women, but to prevent them from being treated badly.

No I disagree the laws are only for "show and tell". If you are an idiot you deserve to be punished by these laws otherwise you do the crime but leave nothing to be caught for😉

Laws are in favor of women...

I agree to a certain extent. My own uncle ended up loosing a house and bank balance to his wife. Even though his wife was the one who kicked my grandma out of the house and gave notice to my uncle. She cried in court and judge granted her everything. She had never worked in her life.

This is one side to the coin...but still there are many million women in India and abroad who don't get equal rights as men. I think in majority men still end up with good bargain.

In the end, laws need to bend based on an individual event

It's not really the laws that are twisted (though some are), it's the people behind the laws. They favor women because of past history, and in the process, innocent men get harassed and abused.
Whether it be men or women, India needs some good law enforcement people who will actually take their duties seriously. The majority of people in the government now are pathetic, no offense to anyone here who supports them.
And I agree with RTH. Those people who call themselves feminists but act strongly opposite are only bringing a bad name upon the movement. They don't deserve to be called feminists, for the true spirit of feminist is equality, and only equality.
