Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishaan and Indian Idol 3 contestant Meiyang Chang have been approached by Sony Entertainment Television and producer BBC for the fourth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Informs our source, "After Ankita Lokhande and Sushant Singh Rajput, Ravi Kishaan has been signed on for Jhalak. Talks are on with Chang and in all likelihood, things will get finalised with him. Ratan Rajput, Ragini Khanna and Krushna Abhishek are still in discussion over budget. The channel was trying to have Avika Gor of Balika Vadhu fame as one of the contestants but her father refused after discussing the money for a while."
Talking about the choice of choreographers, our source says, "Sony is trying desperately to rope in all the possible contestants from DID keeping in mind their popularity. They might not be pro at Latin forms of dance but we have to give into the demand as DID contestants are extremely popular."
We tried contacting Ravi Kishaan and sent a text message to Chang but they both remained unavailable. Ajay Bhalwankar, programming head Sony Entertainment Television, too didn't revert to our text message.
