Many of you must have heard the classic saying/proverb on betrayal - YOU TOO BRUTUS!

It comes from the story of Julius Cesear when he is stabbed at the back by his foes and among them he finds his good friend Brutus who also stabbed him.
Cesar says it then which means that you too joined others in destroying me

Similarly in this case when Sid says - kaho woh Aarman nahi tha - he essentially expressed his shock and pain at the betrayal from a friend! This sentence only means that he had been stabbed from the back.

So much so for calling Sid dumb when these are words signify utmost betrayal

This is what happens when you want to hate and there is nothing else to pick on. I loved loved loved the line. Because this was not about Riddhima in that second, it was about the little brother and the friend who just got betrayed by the person he trusted the most after his wife.

Well said yaar👏

When Sid said tht....it wasn't about SR nd their relationship...it was about him nd Armaan...the bond of friendship and brotherhood they shared....it was about the trust Sid had in Armaan....which was completely shattered into a million pieces....

Wonderful Analogy. Perfect to the situation. I agree Julius was shocked that Brutus could backstab him as he was his dearest friend. And the dialogue he said was "YOU TOO BRUTUS".

Cut pasting this from Wikipedia

"And you, Brutus?", i.e. "You too, Brutus?"). Shakespeare has him add, "Then fall, Caesar," suggesting that Caesar did not want to survive such treachery.

What Armaan and Riddhima did was treachery to Sid and I hope Sid dies and goes away to have Riddhima and Armaan suffer in their guilt.

PS:- The origin of the word brute is from this sentence. cut pasting this from internet

The word "Brutal" means intolerant, mean, and heavy handed. But more, it implied treachery.

"Et tu Brute'?" were Julius Caesar's final words as he saw his old friend murder him for political gain. What good did it do them, as they knifed their former friend and then spread his blood all over themselves? Rome was a savage place, where crucifixion was the worst way to die but they also put Jesus to death on that hellish thing -- at the demand of His countrymen!

When you think of all the rottenness that humans do, remember that "brutal" also means "treacherous."

amazing post👏
thank you so much for this post b/c some people screw was loose but now they are going to get it tight. what you said is exactly the situation sid is in now.
the reason sid said that b/c he can never in million years ever think that his friend his bro can ever backstab him, NEVER, he loves armaan like a big bro so he was questioning himself as if he is wrong, as if he is a fool to even think armaan can do that, he just wanted to get the clear picture before he jumped into conculison b/c like ridz said sid thinks things over and over again until he takes his firm decesion, that is what sid was doing, making sure that it is exactly what it seems. people who have insulated sid my this, i pray for their soul b/c seriously they have lost it like her assmaan!
i am glade sid said that b/c that prived how much trust he had for this two lusty couple, if ridz would ahve lied no it was not armaan, sid would have believed her blindly b/c that is how much trust he had for this sick people. SID YOU ARE THE MAN, you made us very very PROUDE!!!! THANK YOU!

omg.. amazing explaination
👏
KW was rocking today
He played Sid with such conviction, and when he said kaho ki woh Armaan nahi tha it was just because he couldnt believe that Armaan could have given him this betrayal in return for his friendship.. it was a moment of utter shock for him

amazing post.

armaan did betray Sid. a good friend doesnt try to sleep w. his friends wife.

one thing that pissed me off in todays episode....was........😡😡 armaan standing in the back when SR were having "the conversation"....i mean why was he standing there. A husband and a wife were having a conversation....where did this third person come from? Anyways .....good thing SR didnt notice armaan. they were so into each other n their convo. but still armaan shouldnt have been there...theres a thing called privacy....husbang wife privacy!

even after hearing the truth.....i dont think sid wud have done something bad to ridz. hes less likely to do crazy things than armaan.
so armaan dont about anything....jus get out of there. i think u being there wud make the situation worse!
