You have a point. But I think its hard to not compare the two esp lately with Karu singing Ramta Jogi and Woh Lahmey. Plus, they're both cousins so many people tend to compare/contrast them even though both have their own strong points, different styles etc. I think the real reason Hemu has an edge over Karu (and Amey too) right now is that we've heard more of him- he's gotten a chance to prove his talent w/a variety of songs.

And yes, Nihira and Hemu were truly the real talents/winners of SRGMP! 👏

Ya, that was SRGMP was better, they singers sang a lot more than the contestants on II.. because tehy sang even during the results episode and evne in the beginning of the show... so in 2 episodes, the contestants sung atleast 4 songs..

why not compare her with the boys? even with hemachandra i thought nihira was slightly better, she was ALWAYS in sur and has the best voice.

I feel both are equally talented.But Hemu has the most amazing voice I hav heard in recent times.Absolutely masmarising.... 😛 . He was the best male singer SRGMP.But unfortunately didnt make it to the end.Karunya is a flawless singer,but one thing I would like to see more from him is variety.I mean he should attempt few soft romantic songs as well.Just to prove that he is versatile.Hemu was gud at both .I really hope karunya wins this contest.Cos he deserves it !!!!!

haan Kadwiphool ji, I agree.. Nihira was the best on the show with respect to sur.. but how can u say about voice ?! You can't compare a girls and a man's voice..

its like comparing Lata ji and Rafi Sahab..

Nihira was the best contestant out of all reality shows to come so far when it comes to sur, she never repeat NEVER went off sur.. that is for sure..it so sure that its not an issue to talk about either !!

I am not talking like a Hemu fan feeling upset that you said Nihira was better! Coz I believe that she was the best singer in girls and I cant wait to hear her sing more professionally.. but I think its always unfair to compare guys n girls.. which is the reason its unfair to have a singing competition when they both are judged together!

Can you imagine how bad Rangeela title track would sound if a guy sings it? and can u imagine how funny will a Aye Udi Udi sound if a girl sings it? Some songs are meant for guys and some for girls.. judging them together is totally ridiculous..

u're right that some songs are made for boys and some for girls. but SRGMP was a competition that had girls and boys sing and in the end only pick ONE winner (boy or girl). so thus if u are talking about a competition then by all means u have the right to compare the boys to the girls! by no means am i generalizing about boys and girls outside of the competition! so that's all i meant. if i had to pick one winner from SRGMP it would be the closest tie between nihira and hemu but i think nihira shouldve won in the end. that's all. 😉

ohh..that way, yes I agree! I am sure that I am more drawn towards Hemu coz I am a girl and he is HOT 😉 !

But musically, Nihira was a class apart.. i really wanted a Nihira vs Hemu finals, that would have been a treat for the ears (Nihira) and eyes (Hemu !)

These shows have to seriously correct themselves..they should have it as 2 winners, one girl n one guy and never make them compete together... its really not fair..

I think they should have two winners too, one female and one male. The earlier SRGM show followed this format too.
