This week's Movie of the Week is Fashion

I have seen it a gazillion times. Loved the film the performances in the film was amazing from Priyanka to Kangna to Mughda & Arbaaz everyone performed so well. Loved the songs too "Fashion Ka Jalwa" Aashiyana "Kuchh Khaas" "Mar Jawaan" all of it was great 😉 MB best work from his films Fashion was the only one i enjoyed

Overrated to the core....the story, the performances everything...I dunt get whts with madhur claiming he makes "realistic cinema", when all he does is choose a field of profession and stuff it with stereotypes.

This film is def overrated! I think because it was one of few female oriented films we have in bollywood, that is why it get as much attention it got! I liked it, but I didn't love it! It's a one time watch film, it doesn't have a repeat value! Second time you try to watch it, it gets boring! But let me say, that racism bit in the films was offensive and not necessary! Plus the film I felt didn't deserve a National award. Same with PC performance, def didn't deserve a National Award! Kangana, am a bit indifferent about if she deserved it or not!

Performances? Kangana was the best in the film I felt! I loved her in the film, she really got into the character! Priyanka was good, but her performance is also overrated! Some of the scenes, her acting was not believable. Like in some scenes after she becomes the famous super model, and the success goes to her head, and she starts being mean to people. Yeah those scenes where she was being mean, I didn't believe her character/performance! There were only 2 parts that she stood out to me in the film was her breaking down scene, write after she found out she was in bed with black guy! And also in the final scene where she was afraid to do the walk. Priyanka was good in the film, but nothing great! She was 10 times better in Kaminey! Mudga was good too, noting great also, but she was good for a new comer! She was as good as Priyanka. Thatz impressive since she was new!

Didn't like any of the songs! Jalwa was catchy but nothing great that made me want put it on my ipod.

PS love that pic you posted of the film! Kangana's face looks gorgeous!

It's no masterpiece, but I still had fun watching it. I love the song Kuch Khas Hai! And Marjawan is so pretty! I still like listening to it.

PC was great in it. And I admire her for willing to do a movie which was a bit of a risk in a sense that she had to carry the movie on her shoulders. She had no big male lead or anything, or even a big female lead with her.

I liked Mughda too! She was really good. But I was so indifferent to Kangna. I felt like I had seen her do the exact same thing in all her previous movies.

Yes I agree @crazyfanatic I also felt we have seen that kind of performance from kangana before! But I still loved her in the film though! She acted really well! She can pull off psychotic and drug addict roles really well 😆

Loved it.. I love the fact that madhur can make women orientiend movies that are not preachy and are very entertaining.. and the dramatic element that he adds in his movies is great too. Loved both Kangana and PC, they played their parts aptly and their performances were very believable... I liked the fact that they didn't just show negatives of the fashion industry but showed an overall balanced picture.. Loved the music.. jalwa and marjawa are well shot and very catchy.

She can and I totally loved her in Gangster. But after that I'm like...same old! I wonder if directors just go to her with psychotic roles, or if she herself chooses to only do them.
