Lets have your version of a heady cocktail of obsession.

BAIRI PIYA was rich, arrogant, powerful, devious, married man.
Surrounded by trappings of rich, power wielding family falls
for a poor, helpless girl. She happens to be hones, fair & righteous.


Here is mine:

Sharad & Supriya have know each other earlier -3/4 years back.
She has gone through a very tough time and is now happily married
......she has uprooted her heart and has settled down with her husband....

....Sharad comes back to the place after all these years and is still obsessed
with her....... but he just cannot allow any of this to ever...ever be shown .....or come
out in pubic......he knows any sign of acknowledment by him and Supriya
will come running to him.......at the same time she will never forgive him
for breaking up her marriage.........he owes it to her to keep her marriage intact...
...... his love will not allow him to play with something on which she has invested so much
......her marriage........

but his love for her is also not going anywhere........obsession mixed with jealosuy begins...

Somehow Iam still stuck with the picture of Amoli efficiently & justly lording over her village & home, fighting tooth & nail anyone & anything that comes in the way of her newly-found, all-encompassing love for her man'''displaying a gamut of emotions ranging from plain adoration, to jealousy & rage.

Perhaps it's due to the hurried, unfinished ending......its left me feeling as if I've left the dinner table dissatisfied & still slightly hungry!

However'with Amoli filling up the screen in my story, where does that leave DV?

you are so right......i feel the same ....so dissatisfied.......and hence all these stories

come pouring out......

BP has got me thinking so much about obsession....and i must say that BT showed

it in an ultimate way......there could be no better...convincing way to show it.......

that they hammered it afterwards is a different story......

....with regards to your story.......you have a very very valid point......with Amoli filling up

the screen where does that leave DV.......and as he said his love is the edge of his

world.....there is nothing beyond that.....so now what ?? for DV.........

my take.......

.....he decides to build a Taj Mahal for his beloved......pours his passion & obsession

into it.......his love was the end/edge of his world.......but now he wants to leave a monument

for beyond that edge......Amoli is steeped & flowering in domesticity.......she again can't

understand this obsession of his.......to leave a hertiage to posterity of his love.......

he gets so lost in it that soon she starts becoming irrelevant.........the design & building

of this monument consumes him.........it has also made him bankrupt......somewhere

midway he dies.......now she raises the money and completes this monument....

that she didn't even understand in the first place......

the monument is created.....for a love that consumed two lives in its totality.
