Hey guys!
It does seem as if nowadays all my posts are related to the rules of the forum.😆 As usual, I hope you will be patient enough to read through and familiarise yourself with the rules and announcements below.
External Tags
Why are we advertising external sites on IF?🤔
Unless videos and pictures posted on the forum contain tags by IF/StarOne/any of our Coolbies/the posting member itself; they will be removed and the member notified.
Chatting
I've seen a LOT of this creeping into the forum posts recently. There is of course the PM service and the fact that we allow immense chatting in the Appreciation Threads so let's keep this out of the discussion threads please.
3 Quote Rule
It's not a very well advertised rule but it stands all the same. To avoid spamming and making the forum look messy, please do not quote the same post more than three times.
Sigs and Morphing
The best way I can say this is Morphing is NOT ALLOWED. We've had many, many problems with this in other forums and the bottom line is that you can only post original creations on IF, any morphing pictures will be removed and the member warned.
Also, please be aware that this is the Geet forum. We have recieved many complaints that recently the creations gallery has become a place for Gurmina sigs. Yes Gurmeet is part of the show but these sigs can easily be placed in the Ramayan forum. The same goes with any Rahul-Muskaan sigs.😛
Any sigs not related to the Geet show directly will be removed and again the member notified.
FanFictions and Archives
Can I please ask all writers to mark their FFs with (MG) or (Geet) and either FF/SS or OS to make them easier to identify by readers in the FanFic section.
The FanFiction section of the Media Centre has finally been updated according to FFs that are live/completed/discontinued or OSs.
FFs that go over 15 pages are moved to the FanFic section to avoid cluttering the forum. FF threads that have been inactive for 6 weeks are automatically locked and marked as discontinued, if you would like to re-open these then please drop me a PM and I will happily do so.
Any further feedback on how we can improve the Media Centre would be much appreciated.😳
On reading through this I have realised that I sound horrible,😆 but please be aware that none of these rules are specific to the Geet forum, and are in fact only a reminder of the rules in place across the board.😊
