Heya my gorgeous Geetians!!! How's it going? 🤗
Recently i happened to write an article-post on the MJHT forum over how badly i am awaiting a Mayank-makeover because i am so annoyed with the way the CV's and stylists are dealing with his look on the show! Everybody else in the gang has recieved a newer look except him. So i had to slap out my fashion fundas for Arjun ⭐️

Now the point being, if i could write for MJHT [which is like my second-fave forum]... how could i not opine for my "home" forum? Although I am a Graphics and Layout Major, i still am a NIFTian, and have received a base education in fashion and textiles too. So why not use it to reconstruct a fresh-vogue for our sweet Drashti, whose stylist has bought her approximately 15 identical salwar combinations in different colours and shut out any further updates of Geet's character journey!
offwhite...
green...
fuschia...and so on!
Wake up sid [uh..stylist!]...Geet is NOT just a hoshiyarpur-se-ayi-delhi-me-nayi so-called behenjee [Somehow, Geet was never a behenj to me. Always a very educated and cultured small-townie]. And neither is she a low-earning-secretary anymore! Yeah she's given an occasional grandeur, but what about her daily-wear? At least now...
Now that Geet is officially "The" Maan Singh Khurana's [very own 😉 ] fiance! The ceaselessly handsome, wealthy-beyond-words and coming from an ancestrally respected family! And such a man saw an angel in this flower-cum-tornado of a girl, there has to be something to her isnt it?
So dosnt she deserve a new wardrobe at least NOW? Definitely justifies...and I'll plan one.
CV's and stylists, be kind to Drashti and apply it...poor girly 😒
Guys, i am doing 5 daily-wear combos. Those are strictly keeping in mind her cultural ethics and small-town values in the show.
Here goes...
1. PATTERNED PATIALAS:
Every-time i see her, this is the first mix that comes to my mind. Here's a girl with striking looks, great figure and awesome hair! And what do they reduce her screen-styling to? A mob of similar looking monotones. PUHLEEEZ!
Cut her some slack, and get her some patterns!
This attire will complement her small-town freshness, as well as give her a city-like panache.
2. A-LINE KURTIS:
Sleek, stylish and classy. Thats what the collared-all-cotton A-lines are all about. And Maan can afford them in dozens now! 😆
Let the appearance be dutonal, paired with churidars and the right accessories. That'll frame her legs and pronounce the height that she has!
3. THE GLAM 6-YARDS:
As a traditional Indian girl that Geet is, sarees will become an integral piece in her everyday-wear options, especially post marriage. But not the regular chistmas-tree ones CV's! 😆
Lets give her something which is both embellished as well as tasteful. You are looking at a Sabhyasachi original below. He's my favorite designer [not to mention a NIFT alumnite at that! Heee!] Love his patchwork combinations, and totally admire the way he keeps a design element as over-the-top as patchwork so easily undertoned and classy.
Geet, with her pretty doe-eyes, peach cream complexion and a slender torso will look fab in this ensemble. Very arty! Cant wait 😊
4. SIMPLE CHIFFONS:
Its amazing how uncomplicated things can also look very pretty on some people. And Geet can definitely set the example! Give her some modest chiffons [with or without patterns], and experience her natural beauty communicate with you.
5. THE CLASSIC ANARKALIS:
Another divine daily-wear avatar for Geet that'll take Maan's breath away! Waise bhi, which man could survive the charms of the Anarkali ensemble? 😆
Seriously, we Desi girls are really lucky we have the most exquisite and eternally sexy
traditional outfits - the saris, lehengas, salwars and churidars [and each of their variations]...no wonder Kamasutra was born in India 😳 Heeee
Model : Tapur Chatterjee.
That wraps up my contribution into planning Drashti's everyday-wear. You guys can pitch in your suggestions as well, and let us send it to the CV's somehow 👍🏼
