Interesting and very interesting topic.........if you talk about our world in which we all live in.....no fiction in it but beauty is a set criteria for a girl.....every mother in law wants a beautiful chand jaisi baho and boy wants beautiful girl.......it's just that nakusha is all about dilemma of a pretty girl who has to wear soot because she is poor. I know they are like potraying her like heavenly beautiful but LTL team has beautifully depicted that beauty is skin deep.......dutta has seen nakusha almost two or three times in fair and lovely look but he was never swayed away by her beauty.......he loved nakusha for what she is......that's person with beautiful heart.....the way he loses breath when he sees this kali nakusha shows that love is indeed heart-heart connection......it's happens irrespective of beauty, money or anything..............the way he looks her, stares her and feels happy when she is around is irrespective of the fact whether she is ugly or beautiful......its just that he looks for Nakusha, the one with golden heart, the one who has transformed him into a better peaceful human....one who has brought peace within him.........after her face revelation they will show how dutta gets disconnected with nakusha though she is beautiful......for him to connect with this beautiful faced girl is a double dilemma....he will only connect with her again when he gets assured that she is the same girl who loves him.,..the only difference is that she is beautiful...its about a man who has a strong set prejudice for beauty and a woman who has strong set notion that she will exploited by any man being beautiful......it's story about two people who are discovering true love and goes through the trials and tribulations that comes with it....its about two people discovering themselves and how they misjudged life and people around.....its about two people getting out of the fear of being cheated be it by beauty or else....true love is the essence of this story ..........its just that once her face will be revealed.....I dont think CVs will make nakusha a glam doll........I think they will or should keep her as simple as she is now..........😊😊 it's just my inner hatred towards more and anna.....they saw a beautiful nakusha.......tu Dutta who is her husband should see her face and this face revelation is not about revealing a beautiful face but it will raise the curtain between nakusha and dutta and help them to come more closer and understand each other.....how long she will carry this guilt of hiding something from a man who loves her madly and ofcourse she also want to be her true self not be someone who she is not.....CVs pls dont make her glam doll after FR.......show her simple girl with pure heart with no makeup and no lavish sarees n stuff........then we can connect with her more easily

I agree with all three of you but here i tend to have a different opinion..
See if you talk about LTL it is not only the story of Dutta and his evolution to Dutta bhau but it does touch base with a social issue : could a beautiful girl be safe in the world if she is not rich?
Dutta has a notion that the beautiful faces are no good in terms of loyality but in case of nakusha she is beautiful and at the same time she is poor and this is what puts her in trouble most of the times. since i have faced such problems myself not that i was that poor as nakusha is and nor am i as beautiful as she is but in my own way i have faced the hardships of life being a middle class girl. I think If you are rich you have a kind of protective shield around you.. somehow you dont go through those hardships of life.i dont know how many of you would agree with me but the way people behave with a girl when she is travelling in a bus or try to take advantage of her being alone is pathetic. i know this is a shame but this does happen in india.
Here they are trying to potray the life of a girl who is very beautiful and at the same time is poor which is a curse to her. In Nakusha's life there has been such incidents where she had to deal with the devils of the society and she always thought that its her beauty that lands her in such aweful situation. She is beautiful but she has to hide it from the world to make sure she is safe and on the other hand Dutta doesnt trust beautiful girls beacuse of his past experiences. Naku thinks men turn to beasts when they see a beautiful girl and dutta thinks beautiful face is a deceit. this is why i love this show because here they try to make two people understand their fears and come over their preconcieved notions.
If there would have been an average looking girl the point wouldnt have been put across strongly that every girl has a right to live a fearless life no matter if she is rich or poor .. no matter if she is beautiful or average looking. also if wouldnt have stongly impacted duttas perception about beauty.Beauty is a basic element of the show as the main characters are deeply connected to this element.
plz forgive me if i dont make any sense here..

In bold...thats exactly what I think it is....LTL was never the story of Dutta. But it was the story of a Nakusha and poverty stricken beautiful girl and how such girls are exploited by men like Morey. Most in Naku's situation would give in and live the easy life like her sister did. But Naku due to her loyalty to her mother and her own values chose to live life the easy way. So they had to cast a pretty girl for the role because as someone said without being pretty she wouldnt need to hide her beauty.
But no show is complete without a love story...so the love story in LTL is about how a girl can be loved for who she is within rather than dazzling her man with her external appearance. But if you notice that the fact that an ugly girl like Naku has got a handsome man like Dutta isnt really an issue in the show. Dutta has always accepted her irrespective of how she looked. So did his mother...and now his father too. Only people who compare them are his sisters but their voices are dulled due to Dutta. Even in yesterday's daan epi it seemed that Naku has been accepted as Dutta's queen by his praja. So tasha's love story is about them fighting their own prejuidices against beauty rather than external prejuidices.
Coming to leading ladies being beautiful...I disagree. Frankly speaking I find most TV leading ladies very ordinary looking...whether its Akshara or Lali or Ichcha. Dont want to be rude but none of them would get a second glance if they walked on the road without being dolled up. But yes TV did have have some really beautiful leading ladies like Smriti Irani and Shweta Tiwari...but not any more. Even Mahi I feel is pretty...not ravishing. But her type of fair girl with green eyes would be looked as VERY beautiful by most Indians.
But I dont think she will really dazzle Dutta with her beauty...rather to Dutta it wont matter either way. To him what would matter is the fact that she didnt tell such an important thing abt herself that will be an issue....and thanks to her beauty he might even feel disconnected from her vs his love Naku.
