September 22nd, 2010 Written Update

The girl's family asks about Asha and he tells them that she is his servant. Sumer sits down with the girl's family when Jyoti enters in with a law book and read to them about the penalties of bigamy. They get up and leave right away. Jyoti starts reading about physical abuse but Sumer throws the book from her hands and tells her that no one can stop him from marrying again after he divorces Asha. Later RP tries convincing Kabir to join his party, and if not earn a position, atleast do social work. Kabir shows his disinterest but Jyoti comes there and agrees with RP. As Chachi and Vik arrive in the room, some photographers enter asking for photos of RP for the rally. Much to Chachi and Vik's dismay, RP includes Kabir in the photos.

Later, Kabir tells Jyoti that he will pick her up for lunch today. Once he gets to work, Bhanwari tells him about his appt with some ashram people. He tells Bhanwari to reschedule the appt. At the haveli, Asha unsuccessfully tries to kill herself. Jyoti stops her in time and tells her not to be upset about not bearing children yet. She explains to her that Sumer's previous wives were unsuccessful at the same and possibly the problem is with Sumer. She suggests a doctor visit for the both of them. Kabir tries calling Jyoti but is unable to.

Vik sees Rashmi folding his clothes and throws her ironed clothes all over the place and tells her to iron them again. She thinks abt what Jyoti said and decides to iron them again. Chachi goes and meets up with the opposing party, giving them the idea of killing Kabir to win more votes on their side.

hope nothing happens to kabir i hope he stays safe.😭

My favorite part was Vikrant being snubbed by RP in the photo-op issue. On Kabir joining the party, I don't see why Jyoti has to agree w/ RP - if Kabir is uninterested in that, let him not join. As it is, his work is being associated w/ his dad. Initially, I thought that CS had given the opposition leader RP's incriminating photos. Incidentally, if the hired hitman gets caught, he can always claim that it was CS, and not the opposition leader, who hired him to kill Kabir.

Reshmi's strategy is a losing one - Vikrant won't appreciate her any more b'cos she re-irons his clothes any more than Sumer appreciates Asha's being a doormat to him. Reshmi should focus on her baby.

thanx kruttika..for the life of moi i fail to inderstand Y Indian tv shows have to glorify this husband sudharo andolan in almost every show..wife beater hai,chalo usey "pyar" se "sudharte" hain..gimme a break..today,women have the capacity to walk out wid respect rather thn jhelo this kinda crap bt for sum reason its being depicted as a sin in the shows..sushma walking out finally was one reason i enjoyed this show,thn they ruined it..now reshmi has gotten legitimacy for her kid which was the major issue..bt this "winning over wid love and doormattishness" is just revolting...my POV..
