Pratigya: My relationship with Krishna has evolved |
The relationship between the protagonists of Pratigya on STAR Plus, Pratigya and Krishna has come a long way. Pratigya has finally fallen in love iwth Krishna and the couple has found a great companionship in each other. We spoke to Pratigya about her changing relationship with Krishna. |
Initially it was just Krishna who loved Pratigya but she disliked him because she was under the impression that he was responsible for kidnapping her. However the misunderstandings have now been cleared and she has realized that she too has feelings for him. The couple is now happy and content with each other.
"Our relationship did not start on a good note", admits Pratigya. "I am a girl belonging to a simple, middle class family, so I was very upset after Krishna started harassing me and forced me to marry him. I agreed to marry him because he would just not stop harassing me. At that time I was not aware that it was Angad and not Krishna who had kidnapped me".
"I have now realized that Krishna loves me a lot and has done a lot for me", she says happily. " Our relationship is now based on truthfulness and mutual understanding", she adds.
Speaking about Krishna she says "He does behave immaturely at times, but then it is not really his fault. He belongs to a family where it is normal to threaten and beat up people. His family members are uneducated and the men take law in their hands and also beat up their wives". "On the other hand I come from an educated family that has inculcated good values in me, " she says.
But then isn't it said that opposites attract? "Yes the saying has come true in our case,"she smiles.
Pratigya leaves on an exciting note as she says "Something totally unexpected is about to happen in Krishna and my life and this will affect other members of the family too". She refused to divulge any details saying that it will kill the suspense.
