KSG: Before we answer the questions umm [sniffles] we'll get to rumor #1. Unfortunately or fortunately, main har rumor mein hota hoon. Chahke ya na chahke. JW: [Laughs and takes the mic] Haan. Rumor #2 aisa hai ki'I don't know why but the rumor is that 3 of us. Me, Karan, and Karan are conspiring against Shilpa to leave the show. This is...Karan, sab bahar aa gaya yaar. Yeh bahar aa gaya.
KSG: Actually iss mein sachai yeh hai ki Riddhima aur Siddhant dono mere saath track chal rahe hai. Woh dono chahate hai ki woh dono mere saath ho but abhi Shilpa bhi hai. Toh woh bhi chahati hai ke woh bhi mere saath ho. Yeah. [Laughs] Nahin aisa kuch nahin hai. Hum'matlab you know the thing is Shilpa and I started the show in the beginning aur tab se leke ab tak, we've all been waiting for her comeback. Aur jab iss waqt woh waapas aa gayi hai. Umm there is no conspiracy. It is a very harsh word that has been used.
JW: Yeah.
KSG: And there is no misunderstanding and there is no um you know...we don't even have enough time to fight actually. There's so much work to do. Toh aisa kuch nahin hai aur Jennifer ji kuch aur kehna chahati hai.
JW: Nahin, bas that's all I wanted to say was there is no such thing. Uh'hum sab ek saath kaam karke bahut khush hai. We're all one and we have a great time when we're shooting together. Toh matlab yeh soch nab hi uh...is very weird that you know we are all professional actors, yet we will never stoop down to these levels of cheapness. Uh...sun kar, you know it's just that when you hear these things...
KW: You feel bad.
JW:...It hurts you a lot because unknowingly or knowingly set par hostility ho jaati hai. And we don't want all that to affect us. We don't want our fans to think like that and be hurt because fortunately DMG ek aisa show ha jis mein not only all actors are good looking, but all of us play very positive characters. Very real characters toh obviously kissi ko koi pasand hai, kissi ko koi pasand hai. It's very natural, but to bash someone or just because you like someone to get the other person down is incorrect. And it just hurts all of us. So'and we don't want to hurt all of you guys also.
KW: Haanji. Toh aap clear ki jiye jo aapne suna.
SA: Helloooo. [laughs] Ok uh...this is something I've been hearing a lot also. And you know it's like hellooo? It is quite shocking to hear something like that and yeah we do have a great time. All of us when we work together and I think the creative had a change in the track of the storyline so they were working on that. And I'm here. I'm back again. And I never went anywhere.
IF: (?)...Is there a chance the show is going to get off soon?
SA: Ooohhh. We are not the right person to answer that. We...
KW: Yeh toh hume bhi nahin pata. We just come here to work and like our other viewers, I think you'll have to talk to the production house of the channel about it. We'll just start with the questions now.
JW: Just read the questions Karan.

KSG: [Props his leg onto his chair and looks all excited] Alright. Poocho.

KW: Okay. The first question isss... Yeh (?) ne likha hai. "Armaan's character is aggressive? Last we saw, Armaan admitted his feelings for Shilpa. Meri dost hai Riddhima and he felt happy about Riddhima's re-marriage." [Gives an extremely confused look to KSG] Did you?
KSG: Yeah. [Nods his head]
KW: "Now he's back to square 1 and completely forgetting Shilpa."
KSG: See mai yeh kehna chahta hoon. If you watch the show closely and if you watch all the scenes very closely. Umm...aisa kabhi bhi nahin dikhaya gaya hai ki I am over Riddhima. As in Armaan's character is over Riddhima aur aisa bhi nahin dikhaya gaya hai ki Armaan Riddhima ko bhool chukka hai. Haan yeh dikhaya tha ki Riddhima aur Siddhant ki shaadi se ab Armaan khush hai. Woh iss liye tha kyonki use laga tha ki Riddhima Siddhant ke saath khush hai. So as a person who loves another, it was only right for him to you know be a part of her happiness. Aur jab yeh bhi dikhaya gaya tha ki Armaan's character started feeling something for Shilpa. Uss mein bhi we had very clearly shown ki there was a lot of guilt from Armaan's point of view kyon ki use pehli baar Riddhima ki jagaa kissi aur ke liye you know woh feelings ho rahi thi. And that's why he had called Riddhima. So if you watch clearly, jab Armaan started feeling something for Shilpa from his point of view, guilt bhi dikhaye gaya tha kyon ki pehli baar who Riddhima ke liye nahin, kissi aur ke liye kuch feel kar raha tha. And he was not very happy about that fact. Aur humne bahut baar show me dikhaya hai ki jab Armaan aur Riddhima ek doosre ke saath hote hai...it's a very natural thing in life when you're in the same space as your loved one, everything else kind of fades away. And that's what we've tried to show. It's not Armaan's character has forgotten Shilpa or anything like that. It's just that we haven't shot together after that. And our scenes will start very soon. It's not that' Armaan's character is not aggressed at any level for that matter.

KSG: [Gives a very smart and funny look] Thank you! Kya aap paanchvi paas se tez hai.

KW: This is for Miss Jenny.
KSG: Acha.
KW: "Riddhima's character needs a character makeover. When she is sensitive, she is characterless and is two-timing a lot."
JW: Okay. Umm...First of all, Riddhima is not two-timing. She can never do that. I think Riddhima's character is the most real character and she can agree with me [pointing at Shilpa and both laughing]
KSG: Yeah. She's been Riddhima so she knows.
JW: So mere khayal se har ladki ke life mein stages hote hai. She goes through you know certain phases. Uhh...jab ussne pehli baar'you know when she decided...she didn't even...when she got married the first time was out of pressure, out of I don't know frustration, yeh, woh. Second time jab ussne decision liya ke woh Sid ke saath shaadi karegi...you know sometimes you make up your mind that you have to go on. You do go on, but somewhere your heart does not believe it. Toh Riddhima is not two-timing. She's just in a state where she's in a constant conflict with you know between her mind and her heart where her heart still lies with Armaan but her mind has made the decision to move on. So she's just extremely extremely confused because she's not bad, Sid is not bad, Armaan is not bad [KSG lightly says Yes! in the background]. Nobody is bad. Nobody is forcing anything on her and...
PM: The creatives are not bad.
JW: And the creatives are also not bad. [Laughs] The creatives are also not bad. It's just a very real situation where you know things happen and sometimes you can be wrong. You know Riddhima is not some devi or not you know God to obviously...
KSG: Goddy. (?)
JW: [Laughs] Goddess.
KSG: Chal. Goddess.
JW: ...Is not some saint or anybody that she'll always do the right thing because sometimes you don't know what the right thing is. So right now where she is, she is just in an extremely confused state of mind whether to listen to her heart or listen to her mind. And that's exactly what is happening right now.
PM: The four people here are the protaganists of the show.
KSG: And you're also a protagonist.
PM: [Laughs] No, I'm not the protagonist. Umm'story inn chaaron ke ird gird ghoome gi. Ab kabhi track Shilpa pe hoga, kabhi Sid pe, kabhi Karan pe...uhh Armaan pe, kabhi Riddhima pe. But iss ka matlab yeh nahin hai ke jab hum ek track dikha rahe hai, toh doosre fan groups gusse ho jaaye aur bhadak jaaye aur stories banaana shuri karde ki yeh ek doosre se naaraz hai, who hai. So I would really request ke saare log iss show ko Dill Mill Gayye ke taur se dekha. Na ki koi Siddhima, ya KaSh, ya you know AR or ARians. It's really not that guys. It's Dill Mill Gayye. SA: [Gives them a playful irritated look] Lots of US. [Laughs]
KSG: Yeah! Woohoo! We're gonna be seeing lots of you, Shilpa.
SA: And you know like everyone's wondering where I go. So their always thinking that you know maybe I'm not going to be there, not acting on the show, or something like that. Main yaheen pe hoon aur kaheen nahin jaa rahi hoon. And then Palki knows kya hone wala hai. [Laughs]
KW: Soul of all questions is this.
JW: All questions should be addressed to Palki. Palki knows, Palki knows. [She acts as if she's transferring papers into a pile for Palki with her hands]
KW: So Palki, do you want to answer all of the other questions?
PM: No no. All one of you guys need to answer them.

KW: "Why is it when we watched the beginning of this show AR was a beautiful love story...
KSG: Haan. I like this question. [He stiffens up his position and looks excited to answer it]
KW: ...And in then end, be expected to watch it be destroyed into pieces?"
KSG: Firstly, main kehna chahta hoon ki its very...it gives a lot of happiness to be called one of the most romantic love stories of all times. Of all times nahin. Matlab last whatever. And there's actually been a direct comparison of Armaan and Riddhima to Romeo and Juliet. For that, I would like to say ki Romeo and Juliet was a story which was written a very long time ago and it was made into a film that was about 2.5 hours long. Now if William Shakespeare was to...
[JW laughs and sweetly slaps Armaan's arm]
KSG: [Cutely stops her...MUST SEE] Please please. Let me answer this. If William Shakespeare was to come back in 2010. So you know yay I'm back, I'm not dead now; I just went to my planet and I'm back now. And if we tell him ki write Romeo and Juliet for the next 3 years to be shown everyday. [Makes a proud expression feeling that his point is valid; JW laughs] See it's...
JW: 5 times a week.
KW: Destroyed.
KSG: Haan. It's not being destroyed. It's not being broken into pieces and cut and put onto barbecue and fed to the dogs or anything like that. We're just saying ki ek love story aur do love stories jab saath mein aati hai, we need to add a lot of angles into it because we are not making a 2.5 hour film or 3 hour film. We're making a daily soap. We're on air every day of the week for the last 3 years and usske liye, to continue that and not let it end, we need to add a lot of things. So we're not destroying anything and we appreciate the fact that you all have given us so much love and support and still watch our show. And continue because we will continue to entertain you. KW: "Why have you made one single fan group happy with the tracks you've had so far? You've disappointed all your other viewers and fan groups. How do you justify the time and love the fans have given the show?"
JW: We just answered that question.
KW: Want me to answer it?
KSG: Yeah! Sure.
KW: Okay guys, sabse pehle I don't think so we've disappointed everybody because jaise hum sab ko pata hai ki humare show mein there are different tracks and so we need different groups of fans. There's a group for me and Riddhima, there's a group for Armaan and Riddhima, there's a group for Armaan and Shilpa.
[KSG lightly taps KW's arm and signals towards both of them]
KW: And most favorite group: Me and Armaan. [KSG smiles] So I think jab Armaan aur Riddhima ki story chal rahi hoti hai toh I think AR fans are very happy and the rest of the world is crying and (?). And when Sid Riddhima's story's going, something like that happens again. So I guess because it's a half an hour show and there's a story line, there's a popular track which goes on. So I guess I think not everybody can be happy at the same time but that doesn't mean that you should start abusing or start saying wrong things about anybody else.
JW: You know, that's exactly what Palki was saying and we all'
KSG: Please smile, yaar.
JW: Palki, please smile. And we all trying to say the same thing that you know its Dill Mill Gayye. It's our show. It's your show.

KW: Next question is "Do you actually care about TRPs that range from 0.3 to 0.6 considering that there are shows that range from 3 to 6? And those are the ones that are actually affected by TRPs. As the sponsors of the channel favor those time slots (?). " You really want to answer this question.
KSG: See. As a team of actors and creative, the ratings do play an important part in the success of the show. But him apni taraf se koshish karte hai. To do the scenes well, to write a story well, to actually carry forward our reception. We cannot take numbers into consideration and the fact that job hi TRP hain, we on the DMG sets are having a press conference so we can chat with all our fans and all our different fan groups, and that itself says a lot. Kyon ki you know agar we hadn't done our job aur aap log hume thank nahin karte, hume pasand nahin karte, toh itne saare questions nahin hote, itne saare rumors nahin hote. And for us actually basically to come here and to do our jobs well and to be satisified with ourselves and our work at the end of the day, that's the most important thing. Also, since we're in the age where the internet is being used a lot, there are a lot of people who watch the show on the internet and if we check on the internet, the most popular show being watched then we are really high up in the ratings there. So yeah, the sponsors do get affected and the channel does get affected by the ratings but as a team of actors and creators and producers who are writing the story, I don't think we take it into consideration ki humari TRP kya hai ya humare ratings kya hai. But main aap se request karna chahta hoon ke humare jo time-slot hai 8:00 ka, agar humare saare episodes pehle uss par dekhe... [Laughs]
SA: It's a request guys! Come on, please!
KSG; ...Uske baad, different internet sites par dekhe and mai naam nahin lena chahoonga.
JW: It'll just get you know'
KSG: [Twirls his pointer finger] Kyon ki woh bhi kuch mix up hoke aayega. I'm sure.

IF: Is it because Geet is the #1 show? Naya concept aaya hai, naya show aaya hai. Uski waja se TRPs lose hui hai?
KSG: I just wanted to say it's very conceited or maybe very selfish of me to say this. But I think aisa koi naya concept nahin hai woh firstly. It's a romantic show. It's based on romance. Aisa uss mein ya kissi aur show mein nahin hai, jo pichle 3 saal mein hum nahin kar chuke. And I just wanted to say that it's not a new concept. Yeah maybe they're doing something differently and that's why people like it. Lekin we have to also take into consideration ki we are one of the longest running shows on StarOne. And coming back to my request for you guys: Please humara episode pehle aap 8:00 dekhe StarOne par Monday to Friday aur uske baad internet par dekh te rahiye jo aapko dekhna hai.

IF: Karan, magar aapki acting (?) bhi second par aagayi thi ya first. The beginning was fun. (?)
KSG: Abhi I'm back.
IF: So what were you doing?
KSG: I think I left the country for about 2-3 days toh...
IF: Is there a competition between you all?
KSG: Uh I don't think dost...see I'll tell you what happens...what I've noticed in the last 3 years...jis actor ya jis show ke barre mein zyada comments hote hai, the ratings depend on that. So that's it.
IF: That's true.
KSG: So if more comments are about an X show called 'Chandu Ke Chacha' [Laughs] It's fixed now, I can't break It up. Toh if if uh if if Chandu Ke Chacha is doing very well aur if Chandu Ke Chacha has some comspiracy happening in there, and there are a lot of comments on Chandu Ke Chacha, then Chandu will be #1. Simple. [Laughs]
PM: I want to say something. Honestly, once I just want to say something. StarONE apne shows ke saath koi competition nahin rakhta hai. Toh 8:00 slot for me will be...I mean agar mujhe compete karna hai to baaki saare shows jo 8:00 ke slot pe hai, unke saath competition hai. Yeh Geet ya aur ke saath nahin hai. It's a same team that we share. It's one of the channel's shows also and they are doing a fantastic job. And we are trying to do a good job also.
KSG: And I aso wanted to say I think Drashti is doing a very good job with Geet. [Laughs] She's looking very nice. She's doing a great great job and all the best.
IF: We've heard your character is going to be negative.
KW: Yeh kissi ne jo mere bahut barre fan hai, meri bahut barri publicity ki hai. We're just stars. (?) But as far as I know, abhi tak jitna maine shoot kiya hai, jitna mujhe track bataaya gaya hai, there's nothing negative. Why should I become negative? First of all, maine kuch galat nahin kiya hai show mein. [Laughs] Maine shaadi ki hai. Bhai, mai negative kyon banoo?
KSG; Main Karan...uh Siddhant ke character se ek baat pooch na chahta hoon.

KW: Coming back to the questions. A question for Jenny. This one's for you.
JW: What?
KW: "While living in the 21st century and being a well-educated doctor, Riddhima undergoes the decision of a marriage in a home. Why does she have to undergo so much pressure when her heart refuses to move on? Can't she come out of her marriage if her heart still loves Armaan?"
JW: Yes, I've been asked this question many many times and I do acsk myself this question many times. Uh yes I agree but the think is like we all say, it's a show. It needs something to go on. Riddhima is sensible, she is educated, she does live in the 21st century. At the same time, it's not easy to just make decisions. It's not easy to just cut off relationships. It is not easy to go against the society laws for a traditional Indian girl. She herself is [KSG pats her head trying to sympathize and JW laughs] confused as to what she wants. So as soon as she makes her descicion...
PM: It's very normal.
JW: Yeah. Exactly. She's a very normal girl who has her doubts, who has her fears, who has her feelings, and right now she's at such a stage that she does not know what to believe, what not to believe. And she's just going through a phase which is very normal I think. Every girl goes through it and it's got nothing to do with living in the 21st century, education, or all that. You know it's just her feelings, her doubts, her fears, and she's not handling it well which is so normal and that's exactly what is happening. Now what do you want to say.
KSG: Coming back to the 21st century, I'd like to say kehne bahut aasaan hai ke we're living in the 21st century aur she's an edicated doctor aur woh apne decisions khud kyon nahin leti hai. But saying all that, hum sab bhi India mein rehte hai, humari society aur humare norms are very different from the rest of the world. It's very easy to say that why don't you listen to your heart and do whatever you want? But I don't know even a handful of you who in our 21st century that can get married, not care about society, follow your heart, and do whatever makes you happy not thinking how that will affect your own family or society or the family of the person you've been married to. Toh like I said, kehna bahut aasaan hai. We still live in a society that likes watching shows about child marriages. We still live in as society where our audience watch shows about sardi (?). We still live in a society where people watch shows about the normal tu tu-mai mai, then saas and bahu, people getting married into the same family...
JW: Pregnant women getting beaten up.
KSG: And pregnant women getting beaten up and you know people trying to kill their own family members. So you know this is a very normal thing that happens in our lives and that's what we are trying to show in our show. Show in our show. Aur like I said, kehne bahut aasaan hai ke we live in the 21st century and it's easy to do this and easy to do that, but when a person is put into that situation and Riddhima's character alone has to face the grunt of everything. It's a very difficult and tricky situation to be in aur jahaan tak mera khayaal hai, I am a little biased towards Riddhima's character, but Riddhima is doing a very good job of handling all her problems (?) and also keeping everyone in her family, life, and at the hospital happy. PM: Honestly mujhe toh news nahin mili hai ki the show's going off air. Agar show ko off air jaana hota, I wouldn't have invested so much energy for us to meet like this. The other thing is agar show ko jaana hota, toh yaar channel ek hafte pehle bhi producer kp bata dete hai. Show ko off air jaana hai, toh jaenge, warna nahin jaenge. We are doing our job. We're supposed to do our job. We all are going to do our jobs. That's it.
IF: Aapke bare mein saare jo rumors hai ki aapko avoid kiya jaa raha hai ya aap show chod ke jaa rahi hai?
SA: Well, haan. The rumor that is there is that I have been missing in the recent episodes. Well that's because they had to'the creatives had a shift in the storyline and they were going to emphasize on Armaan-Riddhima and Sid. The track was on that. So my requirement was not there and you know I've been called today and we're meeting today. Haha.
